A recently built large contemporary luxury villa offers peace, serenity and privacy with impressive style. It is laid out with a large open plan living area leading through huge sliding glass doors onto large pool and terrace. Its the perfect holiday villa offering good views of the pool from the open kitchen making it ideal for families. There is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with gas fired BBQ and dining area with large antique table and seating for 10. There is a beautiful Bali house overlooking the pool for chilling out and a pool side sound system to laze away the days listening to your favourite tunes. The master bedroom has additional privacy on the first floor with a dressing room and access to the roof terrace for private sunbathing. This room has a free standing bath and wall mounted TV & DVD player. It also has a fully equipped laundry room, as well as an office area with desk and printer. Maid service is provided 2 hours per day for general duties, cleaning & bed making

Changeover day
Bookings are Saturday to Saturday. Arrival is after 14:00 on Saturday and departure is expect by 10am on Saturday. bed linen is changed weekly and towels are changed as required by the maid. Other services by request.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is suitable for families and adults alike. We have never had an unsatisfied guest. The villas is particularly liked by families for its open plan and safe and level areas. Located south facing in a very tranquil valley between Gertrudis and St Lorenzo, you can really enjoy the peace & quiet of the Ibithencan countryside. There are large shaded terraces for with full sofa seating areas for evenings outside. There is an orange grove which provides excellent fresh juicers in season.
Accessibility
Tamaris has also been enjoyed by wheelchair users on a number of occasions. There is relatively flat access to the pool terrace from the kitchen & lounges with only two separate steps.
Outside
Beautiful 16 x 5m pool with lots of terrace area with full outdoor kitchen and bar with gas fired BBQ and dining area for 10 to 12 people. 10 sunbeds are provided. Two grass areas lead to a full size floodlit tennis court. Average standard racquets and balls are provided.
Coast/Beach
Some of the best beaches on the island are within a 15 minute drive such as Benniras and Aiguas Blancas. Becuase of the central location of the villa all the beaches on the island are within 30mins due to the recently completed new road system.
Golf
The nearest Golf Course is ten mins away at Roco lisa.
Special interest holidays
The villa can be rented together with two neighbouring villas (approx 60m away) making a total of 12 double bedrooms for large family groups who want to be near but in separate accommodation. Please give plenty of notice.
Travel
The main town of Santa Eularia is 10 mins and Ibiza town 15 mins. The airport is also 15 mins. Car hire is essential as the villa is located down a long camino.
Distances
All main amenities are located in Santa Gertrudis, a truly delightful unspoilt village in the middle of the island. This is approx 6 km away. The nearest large town is Santa Eularis for services such as supermarkets and doctors etc. This is 10km away.
Further details
The north of the island is the most unspoilt and tranquil place boosting a host of authentic restaurants as well as many of the more well know locations such as Bambudda Grove, Ocho, Aura, Macao and Paloma all just 5 mins away.
Booking notes
50% deposit paid with booking and remainder paid 14 days prior to arrival. A 2000 euro security deposit is taken to cover breakages and returned on departure. A welcome pack of essential items is provided to refresh you on arrival including breakfast.

The villa is privately owned by a UK family and has been the base of many happy holidays since 2003.
We try to do everything we can to make guests as comfortable as possible and are personally available on phone or mail throughout the process.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Casa Tamaris was the result of many months (years actually) of searching the Med for a perfect family villa. With the kids growing up we wanted somewhere they would always want to come so that we did not end up holidaying on our own.
The villa is perfectly located in the serene valley between Santa Gertrudis and Santa Eularia. It is a really easy and safe (no cliffs!) drive from Ibiza town and surrounded by 10 of our favourite places (beaches and restaurants) on the island.
Lots of happy and relaxing moments.
