This is the first time of renting this property. The apartment is spacious, luxurious and has been furnished and decorated to the highest standard. Every attention to detail has been taken into consideration when furnishing Las Rocas. It has wonderful far reaching views of the sea from the terrace and is ideal for al fresco dining and having cocktails as you watch the amazing sunset. You could not be any closer to the sea, that's why we fell in love with it. Table and chairs to seat up to eight people on the terrace and 2 sunbeds. Or you could just relax and read a book. The owner's opinion is "Its the best place in the world" to chill out and relax away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life!

| Bathrooms: | 3 Bathrooms. 2 En Suite one with bidet and 1 family bathroom. All with power showers and shower with various jets in family bathroom. |
| Kitchen: | Large spacious kitchen fully fitted with dishwasher microwave oven cooker hob fridge freezer marble work tops. Washing machine is in family bathroom. |
| Living Rooms: | Large spacious living room with dining table and chairs. Large seating area with fabulous corner settee enough seating for 8. Double doors out to the terrace which you can fold back. Music system provided. |
| Other: | All the bedrooms are decorated to the highest standard which makes it a first class apartment. It is very cool and airy due to its location so close to the sea. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All linen is provided including bath towels and hand towels by the management company (all cotton linen). Apartment cleaned and beds changed before and after departure included in the price. Cleaning can be arranged at an extra cost during your stay. |

Outside
Lovely terrace balcony with sea views dining for 8. Beautiful communal gardens with paved area and grass sea views and sun bathing area next to the sea. Sun beds provided on terrace. Steps down to a small bay and the sea.
Coast/Beach
Cala Tirant Beach is 5 minutes stroll from the apartment with lovely sand and shallow waters. Sun chairs and umbrellas are available. There is a lifeguard on the beach in season. Fornells harbour is a 5 minutes drive with sports facilities including sailing scuba diving and water skiing.
Golf
There is an excellent 18 hole golf course 10 minutes drive away at Son Parc.
Travel
Mahon is the nearest airport from Playas de Fornells which takes 20 minutes this is an easy drive.
Distances
Playas de Fornells is a lovely village where the apartment is and there are several restaurants and bars all overlooking the sea. There are 4 supermarkets to shop for all your groceries. If you want more choice for eating, Fornells harbour is a five minutes drive where you are spoilt for choice. This includes the famous Es Pla restaurant on the waters edge. Rumoured to be where the King of Spain took Lady Diana.
Further details
There are several internet cafes in fornells. Supermarkets, chemist a bank with cashpoint and hairdresser. Mercadel is another village inland 10 minutes from Playas de Fornells. This is very much a spanish town with local restaurants, bars and a children's playground. Also it has a gym and tennis courts. Lots of small spanish shops, an art gallery and good hairdressers. Monte Toro is a church, which is the built on the highest point of the island. Here you can see all over the island. There is a restaurant and a few shops. Also there are various fiestas and concerts throughout Menorca during the summer period. Ses Selinas which is a famous windsurfing school is 5 minutes drive away, where you can book lessons. There is also a big aqua park for the family 25 minutes drive from Fornells. A small zoo is closeby. Go carting is avaliable on the island. Paragliding is another water sport on offer. The caves are worth a visit at Calan Porter, serving coffee during the day and is a nightclub in the evening, (stunning views) Various markets are held throughout the week in the different villages and towns.

About the owner
My husband and I went to Menorca with our family over 20 years ago and fell in love with this wonderful island. There are over 120 sandy beaches in menorca and I think we have managed to visit alot of them in our time. We never get bored of returning year after year. My children are all grown up now and they still cant wait for me to book and pay for the flights!!!
There are plenty of water sports in fornells with excellent scuba diving, wind surfing, canoeing and water skiing. You can also rent small speed boats to travel around the bay. ( you must be over 18) You can also rent bicyles.
This is the first time we have rented our apartment as we have bought an even bigger villa to accomodate our expanding family ( now including granchildren)

We had a smaller apartment in Playas de fornells and as the family grew we needed more space.
