Special interest holidays
This fishing port lies at the end of a 5-mile stretch of soft, white sandy beach, which shelves gently into the sea and is perfect for swimming or water-sports. Venture inland and discover the small town of Alcudia itself, which goes back to the Middle Ages.
Sunday and Tuesday are market days, when this quaint town comes to life and you can wander around the colourful stalls, searching for souvenirs. Nightlife in Port d'Alcudia is certainly the main centre in the north for after hour’s entertainment.
The discos are more laid back up here though, and have a more Majorca family leaning in contrast to South Majorca resorts such as Magaluf and Palmanova.
Distances
Alcudia Port it is at only 50km to Palma, it is very easy to arrive from the airport.
In front of the apartment there is one of the information turist point and also there's a daily ferry that links Menorca with Alcúdia to Ciutadella. The journey takes only a couple of hours and it's a great way to get to know Minorca.
Arriving by sea in the old port of Maó is unforgettable. Puerto de Pollensa at only 10km. Formentor at 20km. Playa de Muro at 3km. Can Picafort at 5km.

Just to let you know that we had a lovely holiday and enjoyed staying in your apartment. It was in an ideal location for a visit to Palma de Mallorca. There were lots of good restaurants and cafes nearby if you didn’t want to eat in. I would certainly stay in Puerto de Alcudia again if I ever come back to Palma de Majorca.
