Outside
The garden is well-kept and attractive, with plenty of trees and flowering shrubs providing natural shade and colour. There is a charming covered terrace adjacent to the living room which has a dining table with seating for up to 10 people and a barbecue. A cool and beautifully shaded place to relax, this area has scenic views over the sun terrace and swimming pool and citrus trees.
Coast/Beach
10 minutes driving to the Pto Pollensa and Alcudia Bay.
Golf
2 Km: The nine hole Pollensa course can be simply described as: hilly with narrow fairways, loads of sand and great views - plus the need to be an expert rally driver to manoeuvre the buggy around the course! The course, which opened in 1986, has undergone a few changes in recent years with the help of a former member of the Jack Nicklaus golf course designing team, Mike Pinner, but it remains one of the most picturesque of all the Balearic golf courses, with wonderful views over the Bay of Pollensa.
Bordering the Mediterranean, this José Gancedo designed course is one of the most beautiful courses in the Balearics and has been very well designed, taking full advantage of the unspoilt Mallorquin countryside, and many of the natural stone walls surround the course.
8Km: Alcanada golf course, not a course for beginners, but the reasonably confident golfer will appreciate his skill in creating a hard but fair 18 holes.The only course situated by the sea.
Special interest holidays
Pollensa Old Town, a few kilometres inland is set against the dramatic backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains. The town has narrow, cobbled street, pretty squares and ancient architecture and seems a world away from the more modern tourist areas. Placa Major, the main square, has a Sunday morning market where you can buy souvenir handicrafts or fresh local products such as cheese, olives and Mediterranean vegetables to sample at lunch or on the barbecue.
