This luxury 2-bedroomed garden apartment is in the Cala Egos region of beautiful Cala D'Or, one of the most picturesque resorts on the south east coast of Mallorca. It is located within a private residential complex in a quiet area of the resort, but still within easy walking distance of all the amenities, e.g. bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, chemist, etc. The marina of Cala D'Or is only a 10 minute walk with its many bars, restaurants and shops. There are 7 beaches within Cala D'Or with the nearest only a short 200 metre walk away. The apartment also makes a great base for golfers, with 17 courses on the island, the nearest of which is a championship course Vall D'Or, only 10 minutes by car or taxi.

Notes on accommodation
Apartment is furnished to a high standard with its own private lawned garden. Also provided are 2 folding bikes, tennis rackets and balls, maps, books, games, CDs and DVDs.
Accessibility
Ground floor garden apartment, ideal for children or people with mobility issues.
Outside
The complex has a beautiful large swimming pool with a waterfall. Sunbeds and parasols provided. There is a pool bar open in high season serving drinks, snacks and ice creams. Beside the pool is a BBQ area, tennis and raquetball courts. The apartment has its own parking space and is accessed through a security gate.
Coast/Beach
There are 2 beautiful beaches within 5 mins walk, both sandy, sheltered coves with beach bars. Within 10 mins drive are 5 more sandy beaches. The national park area of Cala Mondrago beach is 10 mins by tourist train, bus or car. All beaches are suitable for children and safe for swimming.
Golf
The 18 hole championship course of Vall D'or is a 15 min drive away. This excellent course boasts excellent fairways and greens and has some stunning sea views.
The clubhouse has a large bar and restaurant area and a lovely sun terrace overlooking the course. It is the perfect setting for a relaxing drink after your round. Club hire, trolley and buggy hire are available. There is also a shop, driving range and putting green.
The course is open 12 months of the year and it is advisable to book during the peak months of July and August.
Travel
Palma airport is about 40 minutes away. Car hire is available at the airport and locally for exploring the island. Taxi transfer from the airport is approx 65 euros. Shuttle bus service also available from the airport.
Distances
The apartment is within 200 yards of all the amenities of Cals Egos where you will find excellent bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. The nearby town of Cala D'or is a 5 minute drive and can be reached by the local tourist train. Cala D'or Marina is a 15 minute stroll.
Further details
Cala Egos itself offers a variety of nightlife, as well as providing the essential supermarkets, chemist, shops and banks. It is ideally located to give easy access to the vibrant resort of Cala D'or that has a fantastic range of cafes, restaurants, family bars, music bars and a few nightclubs.
The famous marina of Cala D'or is a great place to eat by the waterside overlooking the yachts. Porto Petro is a nearby fishing port where you can pick up a glass-bottom boat trip. Or you can visit a local market, take a day trip to Palma, see the Caves of Drach, or check out a few of the great beaches around the island. There are also 2 large water parks within easy reach for a fun day out for all the family.
Booking notes
Provisional bookings can be made and we will hold this for you while you secure your flights. Bookings can then be confirmed with a 25% deposit (non-refundable). Balance is to be paid 12 weeks prior to departure. A refundable £250 damage deposit is also required. This will be returned within 2 weeks of vacating the apartment subject to no major breakages or damage.
