The location is private and secluded, yet you are just minutes from all the holiday essentials: good beaches, restaurants, bars and shops. For those who like to cook, the kitchen is modern with high quality appliances and very well equipped. Choose from 3 dining areas dependant on the mood and temperature and enjoy the stunning views of the local countryside and views of Arta's Gothic church in the distance. The gardens surrounding the house are sympathetically landscaped to encompass the natural stone and wide variety of trees. Carefully positioned spotlights light up the garden, house and pool at night. There is a large pool side terrace with outdoor kitchen and gas barbecue, outdoor living at its very best!

Changeover day
Changeover day is usually Saturday. Arrival after 4pm and departure by 10am. Flexibility may be shown for low season bookings.

Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning in all rooms. Underfloor heating and open fireplace for the winter months. We have young children of our own so the Villa is suitable for all ages. The swimming pool has an electronic safety cover and the gardens are extensive and secure to play in. Completed in January 2009, this beautiful house offers a luxury environment suited to groups and families of all ages.
Accessibility
There is a single step on to the front porch and once in the house there are three ground floor bedrooms to choose from with bathrooms. Access to the pool can be gained via the side of the house down a gentle slope to avoid the steps off the back terrace.
Outside
Electronic gates open on to a long sweeping gravel driveway lined with lavender and lights. There is shaded parking for up to 4 vehicles. The gardens surrounding the house are planted with Lavender, Hibiscus and Bougainvilleas with large areas of lawn. The large private swimming pool is 12m x 6m and is 1m -1.8m depth. It has a safety cover to secure for children and is paved on all sides in natural stone (non-slip) There is a large covered terrace with seating and dining area and outdoor kitchen with barbecue. Teak sunbeds are provided (along with towels) There is an outdoor shower and a wc/sink located underneath the pool. There are two further terraces off the main house, providing alfresco dining and lounge areas. The views from the terraces are stunning.
Coast/Beach
The Arta coastline is 254kms in length, still preserves its natural state and has been protected from development. Just 10 minutes drive away you can reach several lovely beaches. Cala Mesquida, Cala Torta, Cala Agulla to name a few. Cala Agulla is our personal favourite with horse riding, sand dunes and forest. Most have kiosks and wcs. Golf
Capdepera, Arta 3.5kms, 18 holes par 72. A challenging course with fantastic views over the bay of Cala Ratjada. Wide holes make this course suitable for beginners.
Pula, Arta 5kms, 18 holes par 72. With excellent driving range and restaurants.
Canyamel, Arta 4kms, 18 holes par 73. Outstanding facilities and service. Not recommended for beginners without an instructor.
Son Severa, Arta 8kms, 9 holes par 74. Anyone who enjoys a challenge should try these fairways. They are extra tight and over arched by huge pines. The club house has plenty of charm.
Travel
Airport: Palma 50kms. Railway: Manacor 25kms (direct service from Palma). Ferry: Palma 50kms. Car hire is recommended to make the most of your holiday. The journey from the airport has been made so much easier since the new motorway from Palma to St Lorenc was completed and is a very pleasant drive of approximately 45 minutes.

Arta town centre - 5 mins drive - 20 minutes walk.
Colonia de St Pere - 15 mins.
Palma City - 50 mins.
Manacor - 30 mins.
Cala Ratjada - 20 mins.
Port de Pollensa 40 mins.
Alcudia - 30 mins.
Further details
Arta is Mallorcan through and through for history, churches and fine food. The central pedestrian streets are crammed with restaurants, bars and lots of shops and Tuesday is market day. There are also several banks and a 24 hour medical centre in the centre of town. Further activities near to Arta include watersports, horse riding, fishing and cycling.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking and the balance is due 12 weeks prior to your arrival. A security deposit of £750 is required with the balance payment and is refunded in full within 2 weeks of your departure upon satisfactory check-out.

What a beautiful villa! We loved the space, facilities, décor and the location. This is a stunning home which is perfectly set-up to be shared by couples or families. Arta is an authentic little town with good choice of places to eat and shops to browse. There was plenty to occupy our two small children in the surrounding area, including some beautiful beaches.
