This fantastic property is perfectly located between the beautiful beaches of Cala Gran and Cala Esmerelda. Only a 5 minute walk to Cala d'Or town centre and 15 minutes to the marina. One of 8 privately owned apartments overlooking a beautiful park in a small gated complex offering comfort and privacy. There is a residents pool set within attractive communal gardens for those wishing to cool off or just relax by the pool. It is a first floor apartment with 2 bedrooms, an open living area extending to a large private terrace, ideal for relaxing and dining. There is secure parking available within the complex. Cala Esmerelda is a lovely natural beach cove, popular with young families and Cala Gran beach offers beach side restaurants and thatched sunshades and loungers for hire. This desirable holiday location offers plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and activities for all ages and tastes. Visits to Mondrago nature reserve and the idyllic Porto Petro are a must.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover day - peak times - weekend. We try to be as flexible as possible to allow you to make the best travel arrangements. Access to the apartment is between 3pm and 9pm on the day of arrival and please vacate by 10am on day of departure.
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with king size bed plus built in wardrobe. Bedroom 2 with bunk bed (2m). Large sofa bed available in lounge for adults not keen on bunks (let us know so we can provide a sheet). |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom with WC, small bath with shower over and wash hand basin. All the usual accessories, towels etc are supplied. |
| Kitchen: | Kitchen has double electric hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. Fridge with freezer compartment. Iron plus ironing board. Wall mounted boiler for constant hot water. |

| Living Rooms: | Living room with large sofa bed, chair, coffee table and side board unit. TV and DVD player - some satellite channels depending on signal strength and weather permitting ;) |

Notes on accommodation
The apartment has air-conditioning/heating. 2 green sun loungers are provided round the pool. The pedestrian access gate on the communal gardens/pool side is only accessed with a key making the area secure for young families and there is an electronic gate into the parking area. No smoking inside the apartment and no pets please.
Accessibility
Access unsuitable for wheelchairs due to stairs and gravel car park.
Outside
The swimming pool has a outdoor shower. In the pool there is a shallow area then steps down to a deep pool. Young children need to be supervised by an adult at the pool area. There are 2 sunbeds for use of our clients.
Coast/Beach
All beaches in the region are sandy coves. Cala D'Or Cala Esmerelda and Cala Gran are the closest but there are a number of other beaches within walking distance, Cala D'Or, Cala Ferrera and lots of rocky outcrops with access to the sea for swimming. Many other beaches and small resorts like Mondrago and Porto Petro can be accessed via the road train service which operates regularly throughout the day.
Golf
The is an 18 hole golf course, Val d'Or, 10 minute drive away. Hire of golf equipment available.
Travel
Palma Airport is 45-50 minutes by car. Taxis are available to and from the airport, €71 each way, let me know and I can get my local contact to arrange. Car hire is available from the airport or you can hire in the resort as necessary. Bicycles and motorcycles can also be hired.
Further details
The centre of Cala d'Or is just a stroll away. There are cocktail bars, pubs, cafes, restaurants, clubs and discos to suit every taste and budget. It has all the amenities of a modern resort with supermarkets, a variety of shops, boutiques, banks and hotels. Its mainly low rise and white washed buildings nestle between and along tree lined alleys, so as well as the hustle and bustle you can find quiet plazas, churches and secluded lanes to the local beaches. Also available locally are many activities such as golf, tennis, horse riding, cycling and a variety of water sports. The internationally acclaimed Marina Cala d'Or is just a 15 minute walk away from the apartment. It has friendly waterside bars and cafes and a choice of excellent affordable restaurants, serving a selection of international, local and seafood dishes. The local bus service up and along the east coast runs throughout the day every day, taking in such resorts as, Porto Colom and Porto Cristo. Buses to Palma run several times a day. The islands markets run throughout the week and are worth a visit.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required with bookings. Payment by UK cheque or bank transfer. The balance is due in full no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival. If your booking is made within 6 weeks of arrival, full payment will be required. Daily rentals can be arranged. You will be met at the apartment by a local contact. Cancellations made will be subject to a cancellation fee.

Xavier and I have owned the apartment since 2007, we lived in it for the first 2 years while Xavier ran a small business in the resort. Since then we moved back to the UK as our families needs changed and are living there with our 2 small children. We love to travel and understand a families holiday requirements. We are very familiar with the resort and local area so would be happy to answer any questions and help where we can.
