This special part of Menorca is off the beaten track and gives wonderful walking, bird watching ,star gazing in a quiet and peaceful location. Tastefully and sympathetically decorated. Arrangements for Horse riding, walking tours, cycle hire and boating can all be provided on request. From here you have easy access to beaches on both the North and the South coasts as well as to the capital of Mahon, all being no more than 20 minutes away.Staying here is to experience a Menorca lost to many. Surrounded by farmland with just a country lane to reach it, Binixems is in a precious and special part of the island. Look at the sky on a clear night and you will see the stars so clearly as there is no light pollution around. The nearest neighbor to Binixems approx 2 kilometers away.

Hanging wardrobe and storage drawers. Sitting room with log burner. 2 large sofas TV/DVD plus stereo CD player. This room has open views across countryside and can also have double sofa settee for extra charge. Bathroom with bath and shower over, wash handbasin WC and electric heater.

Original Farmhouse. Beamed ceilings and thick stone walls. Covered outside seating/ dining area with large table, Kitchen with walk in pantry /storage area, coffee table, 4 burner cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave. Main house entrance hall, dining area with log burner. Stone stairway to Bedroom 1 High beamed ceiling, views over countryside. Antique log burner, double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2, High beamed ceiling, Double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers. Walk through separate hanging / storage area to Bathroom with Shower, wash handbasin and WC.
Ground floor, generous 3rd Bedroom with twin beds and room for further bunk beds for additional charge. Wardrobe and chest of drawers. Walk through TV room with TV / DVD, stereo with 2 large comfy sofas to 4th Bedroom with bunk beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers. Downstairs bathroom with bath and shower over. WC and wash handbasin. Notes on accommodation
This house is an original Menorquin farmhouse which has rustic charm and character you will love.

Accessibility
Casa de Senores has one step up in to the house after which time everything is on one level with wide doors. Casa de Payes has old stone steps to first floor and would not suit anyone with mobility difficulties.

Outside
There is a round plunge pool 1.3 meters deep and 10ft diameter, which is shared with Casa de Señores. Garden with barbecue terrace and shaded seating. Patio table and chairs, there are sun loungers and seats for all to relax in privacy.

Coast/Beach
You are with easy access to both the North and South coast and have the benefit of choosing which might best suit local weather conditions and your mood for the day. In the South you have easy access to the beaches and and resort amenities whereas on the North, the beaches are more remote and untouched.

Golf
Son Parc 18 hole Golf Course is 20 minutes drive away. Tee times easily arranged by telephone.

Skiing
Off piste black run skiing may be available once every 200 years on Monte Torro, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Special interest holidays
We are planning special interest holidays at Binixems as we have friends on the island who are able to offer courses in all types of painting/pastel work and drawing. We can also provide one to one courses on Yoga/meditation. We have our own horses and ponies at Binixems and can arrange for horses to be made available from other stables for riding out or to have schooling at the local riding club in Alaior.

Travel
20 minutes from both Mahon airport and the Port of Mahon for the ferry.

Distances
Nearest village is Alaior, approx 6 kilometers, 10 minutes drive. 15-20 minutes drive to Mahon. There are walks in plenty starting from Binixems with many bridle ways and pathways to chose from.

Further details
Within 10 minutes, shopping needs can be catered for in Alaior, with restaurants, supermarkets, bakers, butchers and general stores, If you need more then the capital, Mahon is 12 kilometers away, 15-20 minutes, or Es Mercadal which is also 20 minutes and has several excellent restaurants. Fornells or Son Bou can be reached in the same time. Binixems is near to no where and close to everything you need .
