Mistral 7 is a comfortable three story apartment, well equipped, with an pleasant living room and a sunny terrace with barbecue and swimming pool of 25m of length. Ses Salines, is a small urbanisation, mostly individual houses set on the west side of Fornells Bay, orientated very much towards sailing and boating. There are two restaurants and a village shop. A cycle path and pavement join Ses Salinas to Fornells village in a 5 min ride/20 min walk. Fornells is a quiet picturesque fishing village, famous for its restaurants and multiple water sports (diving, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, boat-charter and motor boating).

Changeover day
Our change our day is only available on a Friday due to other bookings! Guests will enter every week in the evening and would leave on a Friday morning.

Bedroom 3: Double bed, dressing table, built in closet and its own balcony.
Bedroom 4 (loft): two individuals beds, wardrobe.
Bathrooms: The apartment has three bathrooms:
1: Toilet, washbasin and a shower.
2: Toilet, washbasin, bidet and a shower.
3: En-suite bathroom to bedroom 3 with shower, wc and shower.
Kitchen: Cooker(vitro), turbo electric oven, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, blenders, food processor, toaster, electric kettle, extensive supply of cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, dishes and bowls.
Utility Room: Washing machine, dryer, sink, store cupboards.
Living Rooms: Living room and the dining room are connected. There are chairs and a big dinning table, two sofas, one of two places and the other of three, television and a coffee table. There are views of the swimming pool from the large doors in the dining room.
Other: The apartment has a terrace looking over the swimming pool with folding awning. And also has a barbecue and an outside table and chairs to eat or to have breakfast.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The house is handed over, made-up and complete with linen and towels. Beach and pool towels are not supplied. Period of stay two weeks or more: Fridays there will be a maid service, with a towel change, linen change and the house will be cleaned.

Outside
The entrance of the complex has parking for each mistral apartment. There is a common garden for all the residents. The terrace has two sunbeds, and also there is a second terrace that is used like solarium. Swimming pool: 20 metres in length, is only for residents of the apartments mistral. Also it has a swimming pool for children.

Coast/Beach
Anything from 3 - 20 minutes by car takes one to a variety of north coast sandy beaches, Tirant, the closest then Caballeria, Binime´la and Pregonda. Swimming is also very popular from Ses Salinas jetty just a stones throw from the house. In Fornells are various swimming platforms with good snorkeling. There are various beaches along the shore of the far side which can be reached by boat or Kayak. In the other direction, 10 minutes by car is Son parc, another favourite!

Golf
Son Parc 18 hole golf course is a 10 minute drive away.

Travel
Mahon International airport is half an hour away. Car-hire is recommended but not essential. The bus services run frequently now from Fornells to Mahon and Mercadal where there are other links to Es Mijorn and to Cuidadela, a very attractive old town, famous for its San Juan fiestas!

Distances
Fornells 3km, Em Mercadal 8kms, Mahon 25kms, Cuitadela 25kms. A very central position easy 20 minute by car to Santo Tomas beach, a favorite with small children with its shallow crystalline waters and soft white sand a 5 minute drive from Es Mijorn Gran.

Further details
In Ses Salinas there is a village shop selling more than basics. There is a restaurant specialising in good meat, salads and home made desserts. The other has spectacular views over the bay and one eats very well, they have a very imaginative modern cuisine, much on the lines of the various famous Spanish chefs of the day. Fornells has a good selection of restaurants, from fresh fish to pizzerias and of course Tapas. There are two supermarkets and a fish shop in the village. In Mercadal which is a small town there are shops for almost everything and a fuel station.

On making enquiries by email, your request will be confirmed by email too. We would expect a 30% deposit to hold your reservation. The full amount payable by arrangement in euros. There are rules for clothing, noise and schedules, also we cannot be responsible for any accident that could happen.
