This lovely country home is ideally located for exploring the many hidden treasures of Mallorca. The lively resort of Cala d'Or is only a short drive away as is the beautiful beach of Es Trenc with its famous stretch of 15km golden sands. Only half an hours drive from Cosmopolitan Capital City of Palma, and we have several very good restaurants close by offering fantastic value and wonderful cuisine.

We are always open to be flexible with longer bookings, especially long term winter lets (gardening optional). Please ask about our Winter rates.

Changeover day
We can be very flexible so just pick the best flights to suit you and we will fit in with your plans.

Notes on accommodation
We cant emphasize enough how much you will feel at ‘home from home’ we think we have thought of everything that you will need to be able to relax and enjoy your stay, even to the point of excluding children, so teachers you can all breathe a sigh of relief! We also provide on arrival and included in the price a very substantial "welcome pack".
Accessibility
Unfortunately this property is not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
The house is surrounded by mature, well maintained gardens and terraces. The pool is 10x4.5m surrounded by sun-loungers and garden furniture and there is an outdoor summer kitchen allowing you to make the most of those wonderful heady, summer evenings. Spend a lazy romantic evening downing a glass of wine or 3 in the candle lit enchanted garden.
Coast/Beach
The advantage of the location of this property is that it is possible to visit many different villages and resorts on the East/South East, having several beaches all within a 20 minute drive eg. Porto Colom, Cala d'Or, Cala Mondrago and of course Es Trenc part of which is a naturist beach.
Golf
There are several very good golf courses withing easy driving distance, the closest being Vall d'Or and Son Antem.
Special interest holidays
There are many activities available locally, which include diving, sailing, climbing, bird watching (binoculars available on request), walking, cycling (bicycles are available free of charge, also helmets).
Travel
Car hire is probably the easiest for staying at this beautiful rural property, but there is a bus service from the airport to the village of Porreres nearby, and the owner will happily collect you from there by special arrangement if you would prefer not to drive. The airport is approximately 30 mins away. Please email if you want to know more. The bikes are available to use at any time during your stay and there is no charge for this. If you are driving the owner will also provide a sat nav.
Distances
We are centrally located between 3 traditional villages, all of which offer you interesting, authentic and inexpensive restaurants, ie. ‘Menu del Dia’ (3 course including wine and water) from 7 Euros. Each of these villages are between 5 and 10 minutes drive. Please note that to help our guests navigate during their holiday and make the most of the area, we will provide you (free of charge) with a satellite navigation system for the duration of your stay.
Further details
Each local village has numerous supermarkets, banks with cashpoints, street cafes, restaurants and bars, some of which are very well renowned, as well as the lively, weekly street markets.
