Palma ... what a place! We had a great time staying in this apartment in May 2010. We loved the trendy interior, the lovely big terrace, the swimming pool and the general location of the apartment.
In fact, we liked it so much that we have decided to go back again. Same people, same place, same time next year.

We had a fantastic weekend! The apartment is lovely and the location superb ! Also Hotel Portixol nearby was as lovely as you could have imagined.. They stored our bags all day and we had a delicious farewell dinner there!

About the owner
I live in Yorkshire, England with my son and daughter. I run my own recruitment business so life can be hectic at times! It's good to get away and within a few hours you can be in the most chilled out but interesting place - Portixol in Palma City, Mallorca. And only 10 minutes from the airport. There are a large number of cheap flights with different airlines to Palma, so no excuse to come and enjoy this wonderfully diverse city...Coming to this place is the ultimate chill-out from a stressful world...

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
I have been holidaying in Mallorca since I was a small child and just love the island like a second home. Mallorca has so much to offer everyone, and the 'real' Mallorca is a far cry from the stereotypical image of packed beaches and English fry ups. We bought our apartment in Portixol as it is the most up and coming and chilled place to go on the island. It's close proximity to the coastline, with views of the whole bay of Palma, and short bus ride into the historic capital means you are never bored. The Portixol area is absolutely unique offering trendy upmarket bars and restaurants amongst the traditional Spanish eateries, after all many Mallorcans still live in this area, meaning it is not at all touristy. Once you have visited Portixol and Palma, I guarantee you will return!
Unique benefits of the property
Our apartment is frontline to the promenade and beach. It is close to restaurants and bars, supermarkets and cafes as well as being a 20 walk or 5 minute bus ride into the centre of cosmopolitan Palma. It is very flat and easy to get around and for the more energetic amongst you there is a cycle path that runs parallel to the coastline for cycling, running, rollerblading etc. so it is also a great place to keep fit as well as relax! The sea and beach are only a few steps away to it a perfect place to stay if you enjoy watersports. The apartment is very modern and is one of 8. It is contemporary with a large terrace which gets the sun all afternoon and a lovely pool and garden area.Palma is a historic, beautiful and cultural city with wonderful architecture, galleries, cafes...
