Changeover day
Saturday arrival is preferred but out of season we will try to accommodate any requests. Entry time not before 2pm and departure time is set for 10am, but out of season may be flexible.

Notes on accommodation
This lovely apartment is south facing and gets the sun on the terrace from early morning to late afternoon. However by lunch time there is sufficient shade for non sunworshippers to relax. The gated garden offers a safe play area for young children. The property is furnished in Mediterranean style.
No pets are allowed. We have a no smoking policy inside the apartment.

Outside
Our garden is furnished with table and chairs and 4 sunloungers with cushions and overlooks the lovely landscaped gardens and pools.
Coast/Beach
Numerous coves (Cala) are in the area and two beaches are 5 minutes walk from the property. The famous Cala Mandrago beach in the beautiful National Park is a 15 minute drive away.A cute road train runs from Cala Egos.
Watersport activities are available in the area and boats can be hired.
The fishing villages of Cala Figuera, Porto Cristo and Porto Petro are close by and are open all year round.
Golf
The Val D'Or 18 hole golf course is a mere 10 minutes drive away, so we are ideally placed for this activity.
Travel
Journey time from Palma airport is a 45 minute drive. A taxi from the airport is approx 65 euros. Local car hire is available 2 mins from property, as well as at Palma airport.
Distances
Palma city is approximately 1 hours drive and the airport is 45 mins drive. 2 lovely local markets at Santanyi and Felanitx are 15-20 mins drive and are well worth a visit. A taxi from the airport cost approx 65 euros. To Cala D'Or centre is about 6 euros.
Further details
2 minutes from the property is a large supermarket as well as a selection of shops, restaurants, and bars and bank. There is also a pharmacy, health care centre, internet, car hire and excursion booking agent. In the main season there is go-karting, mini golf and trampolines. Indoor bowling is available all year.
The 20 minute stroll to Cala D'Or via the cosmopolitan marina is lovely. Cala D'Or has 7 sandy coves nearby and boasts boutique shops as well as restaurants, bars and nightlife.
Tennis courts, sports centre with indoor pool are very close to property.
Booking notes
Bookings can be accepted by phone or email and confirmed by a non-refundable 25% deposit. We are happy to accept euros. The balance plus a separate chq for the £100 damage bond is due 8 weeks prior to your departure. Directions and other information and keys will be posted 2 weeks prior to your departure. On return of the keys and a satisfactory report from our representative the damage bond will be returned to you.
