The villa is 4 years old and this is the frist year it has been rented. Sleep up to 16. The pool and hot tub are exclusive to the villa and essential during the hot summer months. The villa is 5 minutes stroll away from the small promenade, local shops and bars.

Notes on accommodation
The property is suitable for children there is a stair gate which can be deployed to restrict roaming children however the floors are all tiled so care should be applied to minimise slipping ie wet feet or running.

Coast/Beach
Colonia de San Pere is a small fishing village with a beautiful harbour in a quiet location, there is a small beach within a 5 minute walking distance from the Villa. The beach is a well protected with lifeguard cover during the summer months - and is suitable for young people.
Golf
Several golf courses (Son Servera 9 hole, Capdepera Golf 18 hole, Canyamel Golf 18 holes, Sera de Pula 18 holes, Alcudia Alcanada 18 holes) are within 30 mins drive.
Special interest holidays
Tuna fishing can be arranged locally from May - October deep sea fishing can be arranged at all other times.
Travel
Palma airport is 45-60 mins drive. Car hire is available at airport and recommended. Taxi fares from 90 euros each way for 4 people.
However local transfer can be arranged for slightly less depending on numbers.
Distances
Nearest towns are Arta which is app 15 mins drive, shops, restaurants and a weekly market. Can Picafort is about 20 min drive, go karting, water sports and horse riding is available. Alcudia is about 30 min drive, it has an old historical town and a weekly market, also a water park is near by and many restaurants and shops. On the way into Alcudia is the Albufera natural park which is a must for walkers and bird watchers as this is a protected area for flora and birds.
Further details
Colonia de San Pere is a very picturesque quaint village with a number of restaurants catering for all types of cuisine, you can sit on the terrace at Club Nautica and take in the spectacular views of the harbour and the tranquility of it all. There is also a good selection of small shops and bars.
There is much to see and do in the area - a short coastal walk (suitable for children) to the beaches of Son Serra - known for windsurfing and kites. When the weather is not too hot it is possible to enjoy a number of walks both coastal and hill.
In the towns of Can Picafort and Alcudia there are many activities to enjoy including quad biking, horse riding, boat journeys and all are within a short distance from Colonia. It is easy to hire bikes as cycling is a well known activity in the area. Further afield the cosmopolitan town of Cala Rajada and Arta provides good restaurants and nightlife.
