This is a super apartment set in a quiet location, with fantastic views from the apartments south facing terrace, of the surrounding Menorcan countryside and Monte Toro, the highest point on the island. The apartment overlooks the large kidney shaped swimming pool with separate children's section. The pool area provides both terraced and grassy areas for sunbathing with areas of natural shade provided by trees. The apartment has Air-conditioning/heating and is well furnished providing everything you will need for a relaxing self catering holiday. The lovely sandy beach at Son Parc is a pleasant 5-10 minute walk away through pines and sand dunes. Son Parc offers a selection of bars/restaurants and 2 supermarkets all of which are within a 5 minute walk. The apartment offers free undercover parking for residents only.

Changeover day
Flexible depending on other bookings. The apartment must be vacated by 10.00am on departure day. Access to the apartment on arrival will not be before 1.00 pm. This is to allow for cleaning between lets.

Bed 2 - 2 single beds. Fitted wardrobes. Additionally there is a cot available for use by guests at no extra charge.
Bathrooms: Fully tiled family bathroom with bath/shower over, wc, bidet and wash basin.
Kitchen: Open plan kitchen with serving arch. Fully equipped with cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster. The apartment does have a washing machine which is situated on the rear balcony to bedroom 1.
Living Rooms: Open plan living/dining room with sofa and chairs, Sky TV, video, DVD player and CD player. Sliding patio doors giving access to the apartments South facing terrace.
Other: The apartment has it's own downstairs shower room with shower, wc and wash basin. This room is situated underneath the apartment and is accessed from the apartments private undercover designated parking space. It is ideal for use as a second bathroom.

Towels and bedlinen including cot bedding are included in prices. (Not beach towels.) Towels/bedlinen are changed weekly. Cleaning is done before arrival and after departure. An additional cleaning service can be provided at a further charge.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment has air-conditioning/heating making it suitable for use in the Spring and Autumn as well as during the Summer months.

Outside
The apartment has a South facing terrace which overlooks the swimming pool. The terrace has patio furniture and a large parasol. It also has a built in brick BBQ. The apartment is accessed via a lockable gate on to the terrace. The terrace area is fully enclosed. The apartment complex provides grassy and paved areas for sunbathing and there is natural shade provided by trees for those who want it. There is free undercover parking with an allocated parking space.

Coast/Beach
The safe blue flag sandy beach at Son Parc is a 5-10 minute stroll away through pines and sand dunes. For those wishing to walk to other beaches a 40 minute walk will take you a deserted cove across the headland. In the opposite direction a 15 minute walk across the cliff path will take you to the nearby resort of Arenal D'En Castell which provides a sandy bay and a further selection of bars/restaurants. Pedaloes and canoes are available for hire at both the beaches of Son Parc and Arenal.

Golf
One mile away from the apartment is the only golf course on the island which currently provides an 18 hole course and a driving range. Equipment is available for hire. There are also tennis courts for hire situated at the golf club with hire of racquets available if required.

Travel
Mahon Airport is a 20 minute drive away. Car hire is not essential as all amenities are close at hand within the resort, however for those wishing to explore the island car hire is recommended. There is a local bus service available from Son Parc for those wishing to visit other resorts.

Distances
Anywhere on the island can be reached within an hour by car. The nearby resorts of Arenal, Addaia and Fornells are within a 10 -15 minute drive.

Further details
Local bars/restaurants/shops and supermarkets are all within walking distance. Horse riding, diving, windsurfing and sailing are all available within a short drive. There are 2 water parks at the opposite end of the island which can both be reached within an hours drive. A doctor is on call to the resort of Son Parc on a daily basis should one be needed. A lifeguard/first aid post is in use during peak season months on Son Parc Beach. Early check ins/late checkouts maybe available dependant on other bookings. Booking notes
Please telephone or email to check availability. A 20% deposit per booking is required. Balance of payment is required 6 weeks before departure. We would recommend all guests arrange their own cancellation insurance. If a booking is cancelled following confirmation and receipt of a deposit or final balance, we can only refund monies paid if we are able to secure another booking for the same dates. We would respectfully ask that any items damaged or broken are replaced by guests during their stay

About the owner
My name is Erica Moloney. I am 46 years old and am married to Kevin. We have 2 daughters aged 13 and 10. I work as an Accounts Manager for a local Recruitment Consultants. In my spare time I spend a lot of time riding my horse Murphy on whom I compete locally at Dressage. I love Menorca and everything about it and enjoy co-ordinating the bookings and updating the Information folder within the Apartment with suggested new places to visit/eat.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
The Apartment was bought by a Spanish friend who bought this Apartment at the same time as our Apartment B767 in 2004. Following the success of renting out our Apartment B767 to English guests he asked me whether I would rent out his Apartment in the same way. We have just completed our first season doing this (2009) and have had lots of positive feed back. The Apartment is superbly located within easy reach of all amenities so there is no need to hire a car however Menorca is a beautiful island with fantastic places to visit which would need a car. Son Parc is a tasteful resort with no high rise hotels. The Beach is a crescent of golden sand backed by sand dunes.

Unique benefits of the property
The Apartment offers Air-Conditioning and a full range of kitchen appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Undercover parking is an added benefit keeping a car cool in peak season should you decide to hire one. The Apartment has it's own separate private downstairs shower room which can double as a second bathroom or it very handy for a nip to the loo if your beside the pool. The Apartment has direct access to the Pool and has a lovely south facing terrace with views to Monte Toro the highest point on the island. The Pool area provides sunny areas and natural shade from the pine trees making it suitable for everyone.
