Four bedroom detached villa, within walking distance of the resort of Son Bou. Son Bou has many facilities to offer for a perfect holiday. This upmarket resort has many facilities to cater and entertain for a one or two week stay. Here you will find a bowling alley, water slide, discos, bars, supermarkets, gift shops, chemist and many restaurants and cafes serving a range of International cuisine. Son Bou has the largest and arguably the best family beach on the island. Ideal for beach lovers and families. Menorca has luckily escaped most of the effects of package holidays and is fairly quiet and relaxed even in peak season, which means you can fully enjoy the amazing sandy beaches, or explore the capital city of Mahon and its lively harbour at one end of the island or the old capital city of Ciutudella, at the other.

Bathrooms: Family bathroom with bath / shower and WC, also houses the washing machine.
En-suite with shower cubicle off main bedroom.

Kitchen: Attractive, well equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and storage cupboards etc.
Living Rooms: Attractively furnished Lounge with corner fireplace and patio doors opening on to lower terrace. Includes 2 sofas, coffee tables and chairs, Satellite TV, DVD player and MP 3 player dock and speakers.
Other: Dining room leading off kitchen fitted with pine table and chairs. Both lower and upper terraces include tables and chairs.

Villa cleaned before arrival. Bed linen and towels for bathroom provided (not for beach use). Tea towels included.

Notes on accommodation
All rooms are equipped with fans. Lower terrace is gated making a safe area for children, away from pool.

Accessibility
Not suitable for any one with severe mobility problems due to steps down to villa off road.

Outside
Outside there is a private pool (6 x 4mts, 5 to 9ft deep) with shower, BBQ area, several terraced areas for lounging by the pool or relaxing in either sun or shade and enjoying the lovely sea views overlooking the beach of Son Bou. A good selection of tables, chairs, parasols and loungers are provided.

Coast/Beach
Son Bou has the largest and arguably the best and safest family beach on the island and offers several beach bars with a variety of water sports activities, including jet skis, pedalos, windsurfing boards and snorkeling, equipment available to hire. The beach has life guards on duty daily.

Golf
Son Parc golf course 20 mins away. The only golf course on the island - another planned for Son Bou. Tuition and equipment hire available. Also driving range, putting green, tennis courts and restaurant.

Skiing
For a variety of water sports (sailing, kayaking, wind surfing, scuba diving, water surfing and water boarding) visit Fornells on the north of the island which is only 20 mins drive away.

Special interest holidays
Ideal situation for walking, cycling, (with many specially designated paths)painting and fishing holidays. Horse riding is also available nearby. The resort has a popular new bowling alley, which is popular with both the young and old. The island has many Archaeological sites, and places of historic interest which are well worth a visit.

Travel
Son Bou can be found at the south of the island of Menorca is approximately 20 minutes from the islands airport near the capital Mahon.To enjoy Menorca to it full, car hire is recommended, although the resort offers many shops, cafes, restaurants etc. that it is not essential in the season.

Distances
Only 10 minute walk to the resort for entertainment, shops and restaurants. Nearest town Alaior is 7km and well worth a visit.

Further details
A wide variety of restaurants/bars can be found on the resort catering for all tastes. Arrangements can be made for hire of cots and high chairs. Welcome packs arranged on request. This is a no smoking villa.

Booking notes
50% deposit required at time of booking, remainder to be paid 8 weeks before holiday. We can help with car hire etc. if required.
