Ideal for couples or family who a looking for a well earned rest! There is a play area for the small children and a full size pool for the family including and baby pool. The town centre is 2 minutes walk away.

Changeover day
Changeover day is a Friday You must vacate the property at 10am on departure day.(Ten/eleven day holidays are negotiable)

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with king size bed and fitted wardrobes, ceiling fan and safe deposit box.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds and fitted wardrobes and ceiling fan.
Bathrooms: Bathroom with bath/shower over, WC and hand basin, and there is a top loader washing machine.
Kitchen: Includes all main equipment, new cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and all crockery and cutlery. This has recently been refurbished, with new granite work tops and white cupboards.
Living Rooms: Living room consists of 2 chocolate coloured leather sofas , coffee table, flat screen TV and Sky free to view, DVD with films and a table with 4 fold away chairs there is also air conditioning in this room. The french doors open out onto a large patio.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The apartment will be cleaned for your arrival with all clean linen and towels provided. Towels and linen will be changed weekly. Beach towels are provided at the start of your holiday.There are two fold away beach beds for use around the pool or beach.

Notes on accommodation
This apartment is on the first floor and gated which makes it very private. The apartment has air conditioning which is well needed in those hot summer months.

Accessibility
This apartment is on the first floor and not suitable for wheelchair users.

Outside
The apartment has two balconies one to the rear of the property with a table and 2 chairs whilst the front balcony is bigger and overlooks the well kept gardens. The communal pool is to the right of the apartment. The balcony has a table and 4 chairs, parasol and 2 sunbeds to relax on. Also provided is two additional fold up sunbeds for use by pool or to take to the beach, we do stress please remember to bring them back.
There is a small play area overlooking the back of the apartment which is ideal for the little ones. The gardens and pool area on this complex are very well kept and to very high standard.

Coast/Beach
Beautiful coved sandy beach approx 10 min walk away, which is accessible via steps or road down. The beach is very safe for children with a life guard present and a first aid office if needed. There are few bars and restaurants down there along with a beach shop selling lilos,buckets and spades etc.

Golf
There is an 18 hole golf course at Son Parc which is about 25 mins drive from the apartment.

Travel
The capital of Mahon is 20 minutes away either by car or the local bus service. The airport is about 15 minutes away by taxi. You can also hire a car which can be hired in Calan Porter or at the airport. A car is not essential, but if you want to see the rest of this beautiful island then i would recommend it, or take a coach trip from the local supermarket.

Distances
The main town center of Calan Porter where the bars and restaurants can be found are a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Our nearest town outside of calen porter is san clement which has a church, and a few bars, and a very good supermarket and there are a couple of banks there also.

Further details
There is a "Jazz night" which is every Tuesday starting at 9.30pm held in The Casino at San Clemente, a ten minute drive away. It is very well supported and does have guest artists.

Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 is required on booking , the remaining balance should be paid 10 weeks prior to departure.

About the owner
I have owned this apt together with my partner since 2004. We would like to think that the apartment reflects on the type of people we are, caring for others needs. I have had a villa here in Calan Porter since 1973 so I know Menorca pretty well. My daughter lives here with her husband and two children and my other two daughters are regular visitors. We have lived here ourselves since 2006.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought this apartment because of the location and basically we know calan porter very well. It is within easy reach of everything nowhere is too far.

Unique benefits of the property
the benefits are a very large terrace big enough to eat outside, and also sunbathe on, also a smaller terrace at the back for morning sitting with a coffee. We have completely updated this apartment and it is more like a home rather than a 'holiday flat'. although i live in a villa in calen porter, i could quite easily live in this apartment all year round.
