The villa has a very homely atmosphere.It is detached and designed on 3 staggered levels forming an 'L' shape. The pool is situated at the rear with a large terrace, part of which is covered, allowing for some protection for children. It has a garage which is used as a store room for cot, high chair and the utility appliances. The villa is within a short walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beach. There is also a bus service into Mahon during the high season. Son Parc is classified as a resort and as such facilities such as the shops and restaurants are only open for the season which is 1 May-31 Oct of each year. Son Parc golf club is open all the year and has a superb 18 hole course.

Notes on accommodation
Wood burner in the lounge for those chilly winter evenings. Part covered terrace is ideal for babies and tots where they can be with you but protected from the sun.
Outside
Small garden with private pool. The pool is at the rear of the villa and is quite secluded. Surrounded by decking and tiles. The pool is not heated. Outdoor furniture - large table with chairs, parasol, sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
The beach is approx 8 minutes walk away from the villa. Alternately you could drive to the other side of the bay (no steps). Very sandy, shallow water for a long way out.
Golf
Son Parc Golf Club is the only golf course on the island and is owned by an Englishman. It boasts a superb 18 hole course and you can hire golf clubs if you need. It is about 1/3 of a mile away from the villa and therefore, although you could walk, a car is advisable.
Travel
Mahon is the only airport on the island. You can get a taxi from the airport to Son Parc but a car is highly recommended for getting around the island. Son Parc is approx 25 mins drive away.
Further details
The nearest bank is in Mercadel approx 15 mins drive although the local hotel will always change currency and travellers cheques.
Booking notes
Bookings are from Friday to Friday although during the winters months other days would be considered. 20% deposit is required with booking with the balance due 28 days before the holiday. Once the balance has been received key(s) and directions are sent. The villa should be vacated by 11.00am (if there is no one following this could be extended) to allow cleaners in).
