Situated on a small private gated complex this three bedroom Casa is ideally situated a short walk from the Marina and the bars and restaurants of Cala d'Or. The private south facing garden overlooks a tropical landscaped area and three interconnected pools with a water slide and toddlers paddling area. The Casa's three roof terraces give a 360' vista across Cala d'Or and towards the Marina and the mountains beyond. It has air-conditioning in every room, a separate fully equipped kitchen and satellite TV with UK 'free to air' channels with DVD player. Close by are a number of beautiful white sandy 'Cala's' which are ideal for swimming and sunbathing. The house has its own parking area however shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance so a car is not essential. The complex is quiet and centrally located for easy access to transport for sightseeing visits throughout the island. There are also ample sunloungers available at the pool areas for you to use.

Changeover day
Changeover day is usually Saturday to Saturday but alternatives can be arranged subject to availability.

Notes on accommodation
This villa is ideally suited to families with children of all ages and there is a travel cot and a high chair in the property. Being in a central location, this villa would also suit more mature guests as local shops, bars, supermarkets and restaurants are all within a short walking distance. The property has individually controlled air-conditioning units to all bedrooms and in the lounge areas. The property is suited to families with children and has a gated garden and security windows to the twin bedroom. There is also heating units available for the cooler evening months.

Outside
A private gated south facing garden and patio overlooking the pool areas with garden furniture and sun loungers, ideal for families. The community areas are very pretty and contain three pools linked via a water slide. One of the pools is ideal for toddlers and there are plenty of sun loungers available for sunbathing. There are 3 terraces leading out from the 1st floor level of the casa, one overlooking the gardens and pools and the side terrace overlooking the gardens ideally placed for private morning or early evening drinks, leading off this terrace are stairs to the roof terrace for further private sunbathing with lovely views across Cala d'Or and the mountains beyond.
Coast/Beach
There are 7 sandy beaches in the vicinity of Cala D'Or, 2 are within 5 mins walk. One of the most beautiful beaches is Cala Mondrago in the Natural Park which has facilities: WCs, restaurant, beach bar, lifeguard and pedalo hire. This is easily reached by car or local tourist bus, local taxis are reasonably priced or use the seasonal train which goes through all the resorts and beaches.
Golf
The Val D'Or 18 hole golf course is only a ten minute drive from the villa and has a large clubhouse with a very good restaurant.
Special interest holidays
Ideal base for walking and cycling, particularly in out of season months. The Parque Natural de Mondrago is less than 10 minutes by car. Swimming, tennis, fishing, golf, crazy golf, windsurfing, water skiing, jet ski hire, boat hire, horse riding are also available.
Travel
Palma International Airport is 60km distance from the villa and can be reached by car within 40 minutes. Car hire is not essential once at the villa, although car hire can be arranged locally for sightseeing and days out. Taxis are plentiful and public transport links are good.
Distances
The Marina is 150 metres away. Cala D'or town can be reached within 15 minutes walk around the picturesque marina. The bars and restaurants of Cala Egos are a ten minute walk. Caves of Drach is 30 minutes by car. Palma City with its beautiful cathedral and cosmopolitan shopping is only a 50 minute drive away. Aqua city is 40 minutes by car and Marine land is a 50 minutes drive. The town of Santanyi is a pleasant 20 minute drive away for the weekly market.

The centre of Cala d'Or has banks, health centres, excellent shopping, bars, restaurants and nightlife. Close by is a children's play area (swings, slide and rocker), activity area with go carts, trampolines, mini crazy golf, pool table and air hockey. Cala Egos has a good range of shops, bars and restaurants and facilities for children. There are supermarkets, a chemist and a local tourist kiosk for all your sightseeing needs located here only a 10 minute stroll from the casa. The nearest supermarket is a 3-4 minute walk toward the Marina.
Booking notes
Prices are shown for the villa per week and include use of a safe, weekly cleaning and change of linen and towels. A deposit of 25% is payable on booking and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure.
