Casa Verde is situated in the unspoilt countryside of south east Mallorca on the slopes of a mountain with beautiful views across the island. Recently built from local stone and traditional materials, it is set in 4 acres of almond, apricot and carob trees with pine forest behind. The house has a 10x4m pool with terraces set in a lawned garden. It is primarily on one level with one upstairs double bedroom with a roof terrace and en suite bathroom. Ground floor consists of hall, kitchen/dining room, cosy living room with open fireplace, one double ensuite bedroom and one double and one twin share a bathroom.

Notes on accommodation
Underfloor heating and fans. Suitable for children but pool and property not enclosed; downstairs en-suite double bedroom has wheelchair access. Hammocks, sunloungers, parasol.
Accessibility
All ground floor doors are 82cm wide to accommodate wheelchair access.
Outside
Garden with palm trees, lawn and flowers. 10 x 4m swimming pool. Extensive terracing with sunbeds and BBQ. Private roof terrace with great views of the far mountains.
Outside covered dining area by kitchen, seating area with metal tables and chairs overlooking pool.
Coast/Beach
Beaches to suit all tastes including: Porto Colom 10 mins, marina with sandy coves. Cala D'Or holiday resort 15 mins has 5 sandy coves and a marina. Unspoilt Es Trenc 25 mins; Cala Mondrago 20 mins, twin sandy bays with beach bar and restaurant. All times are driving.
Golf
Vall D'Or golf club is a 20 minute drive. Son Anthelm golf club is a 25 minute drive.
Special interest holidays
Yoga classes available with qualified British Wheel of Yoga teacher. Professional massage also available. Bicycle hire, windsurfing, canoeing, tennis/basketball courts, diving, riding available locally. Boat rentals, boat day trips. Private dinners can be catered for.
Travel
Palma Airport is 35 minutes drive and car hire is essential.
Distances
5 min drive to the local town of Felanitx, which has a palm tree lined square, a beautiful 13C church and a large Sunday market. 10 min drive to the fishing village of Porto Colom; 10 min drive to the hilltop monastery of San Salvador and the 11C castle. There is a good variety of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes in the area.
Further details
The town of Felanitx has supermarkets, banks and local craft shops. Cas Concos has 5 good restaurants and is a 10 minute drive. There is a local riding school and windsurfing, sailing, diving are close by. Cycle hire can also be arranged. This area is great for birdwatching and walking.

About the owner
Hi everyone, Sue and I built this house to our own design in 2,000 and 2,001. It is the third house we have built here in the 25 years we have lived here in Mallorca. We have two children, girls, who have grown up here and are young adults now, and live nearby. We moved here from west London in 1986. Sue is a designer, painter and teacher of yoga. I, Max, am a builder, writer, musician and songwriter. We know our area of Mallorca intimately and can direct you to the best beaches, restaurants, fiestas and so on.
