Our family villa is a spacious 3 bedroom 3 bathroom property set in landscaped gardens with country views. The living areas have high vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans to help keep you cool in the height of the summer. A covered dining terrace framed with bourgainvillea leads to a further side terrace with built-in barbeque. Steps lead down to the private pool and terraces with sun beds and a pergola to provide shade. The fresh water S'Albufera lake is a short walk away and has many visiting migrating birds en-route to Africa. Situated just a 5 minute drive from the lovely fishing village of Es Grau with its beautiful beach, shallow and child friendly waters, bars and a small supermarket. Mahon harbour is a 10 minute drive and offers a variety of restaurants and bars.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the villa per week in UK pounds. Prices for the weeks between 30/09/2011 - 16/12/2011 are for 4 people, please add £50 per week for each additional person. We are able to offer discounts for long winter lets. A 25% deposit is needed to secure your booking. The balance is due not less than eight weeks before your holiday. We hold a damage deposit of £200. (£300 at Christmas and New Year).
Changeover day
Changeover days - normally Monday, can be flexible. Arrival time - 3pm, departure - 10 am unless otherwise arranged.

Outside
The landscaped gardens are divided into terraces with dining on 2, and a built-in BBQ. The private swimming pool is 10x5m and is cleaned twice weekly during the summer, once a week in the winter. There are sunbeds available and shaded areas so that you can avoid the heat of the sun.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach of Es Grau is just 5 minutes drive away. It has shallow waters for quite some distance and is therefore particularly child friendly. There is a beach bar nestling beneath trees and a further bar/restaurant with decking over the water. Menorca has a wealth of beaches to explore nearby and beyond and being a small island all are less than an hours drive away.
Golf
Son Parc has an 18 hole golf course and is a 30 minute drive from the villa.
Special interest holidays
S'Albufera is an officially designated Biosfera, an area of declared outstanding natural beauty. The lake is the last fresh water lake for birds migrating between Europe and Africa and is a protected wild life sanctuary, being home to a wide variety of migratory birdlife, including several rare species.
Travel
Mahon airport is a 15 minute drive from the villa. Car hire is essentail.
Distances
Es Grau fishing village and beach is a 5 min drive. Mahon harbour and town centre is a 10 min drive. The whole island is just 32 miles long by 12 miles wide so nothing is very far away.
Further details
You will find in the villa leaflets and books about Menorca. Es Grau has a small supermarket and Mahon larger supermarkets which are open to 9pm and provide a selection of fresh and convenience foods along with newspapers and magazines.
