The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has 2 balconies one overlooking the pool and one overlooking the rear gardens. Its location at the mouth of Mahon harbour is ideal for relaxing in the sun. There is a large swimming pool in the centre of the complex to be enjoyed by children of all ages! It is 2 minutes walk to a small cove with wooden jetties which is ideal for searching rock pools and 10 minutes walk to the beautiful harbour of Cala Fonts which has many bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. The apartment is located in the quite Sol del Este residential area. There is a small shop and 3 bars (2 serving food) with 3 minutes walk. Es Castell is also within 10 minutes walk and has all the supermarkets, shops banks etc you would expect in a small town. From Cala Fonts you can take a boat trip around the harbour. From La Gardenia you can enjoy walks along the harbours edge and through the country lanes to St Esteve and Fort Malborough.

Changeover day
The changeover day is usually Friday but in some circumstances this can be negotiable. Entry into the apartment is available after 2pm on the day of arrival. Guests are asked to depart by 10am on day of departure.

Accommodation
Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds.
Bedroom 3 with twin beds.
A cot can be provided at a small additional charge.
Bathrooms: First bathroom has bath with overhead shower, WC and sink.
Second bathroom has shower cubicle, WC and sink.
Kitchen: The well equipped kitchen has Halogen hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine.
Living Rooms: The comfortable lounge has 2 leather sofas, TV with satellite, DVD, CD player and woodburning stove. There are French windows which open onto the first balcony over looking the pool.
Other: Dining area seats 6 and is positioned in an alcove off the living area next to windows overlooking the pool and gardens.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen provided and changed on a weekly basis. The property is cleaned prior to your arrival and it will be cleaned on your departure. If you would like the property to be cleaned during your stay this will incurr an additional charge.

Notes on accommodation
The property is very well maintained, with a ceiling fan in the lounge to keep you cool on those hot summer days. There is a balcony to the rear of the apartment off the twin bedroom. This balcony gets the sun in the morning and is an ideal place to have your morning coffee.

Accessibility
The property is located on the first floor of a three floor block. There is a handrail fitted on the stairs up to the apartment.

Outside
There is a well maintained shared pool in the complex. The extensive gardens overlooking the harbour mean you can have a different view at any time of the day.

The balcony has table and chairs for outside dining. There are two sunbeds in the apartment and 4 deckchairs to be used by the guests. On warm summer evenings guests are welcome to take the BBQ into the gardens to enjoy alfresco dining, as night falls the gardens are beautifully lit.

Coast/Beach
There is a small cove 2 minutes walk from the apartment which has wooden jetties for sun bathing or fishing. Menorca has many beautiful beaches all within half an hours drive from the apartment. The nearest is approximately 15 minutes drive away. In the apartment is a concise guide to some of the beaches on the island along with instructions on how to get there.

Travel
The apartment is approximately 10km from Mahon airport and about 7km from the nearest ferry port in Mahon harbour. Although the apartment is only a 15 minute drive from the airport, there is no noise from air traffic. Although a car is not necessary to enjoy a holiday on the island, to get the most from your holiday it is recommended.

Distances
The capital of Menorca is the town of Mahon which is only 10 minutes away by road and is well worth a visit. Also the town of St Estve is a good place to visit and is an easy 45 minute walk away. When there you can visit Fort Malborough which was built in the 1700's when the island passed into English hands.

Further details
The harbour is the second deepest natural harbour in the world which makes it an ideal location for cruise ships and its not uncommon to see cruise ships pass by after leaving the Port of Mahon.

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance should be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
