'Villa Lechuza' is situated in a quiet spot just a short walk from the centre of the pretty village of Cala Pi, with its great restaurants and pretty sheltered beach. The villa has a large upstairs master bedroom with picture postcard views and ensuite bathroom with bath. The two bedrooms downstairs share a bathroom with shower and one bedroom has French doors which open out onto the terrace with stunning view. The kitchen comes fully equipped with large fridge/freezer, oven, hob, washer and dryer. The spacious and airy living room has two large sofas set around the fireplace and satellite TV, DVD, video and music facilities. There is a dining room inside as well as a large dining area on the outside terrace for al fresco dining. Surrounding the swimming pool overlooking the sea are several terraces for sun loungers and a garden with attractive plants and shrubs. There is also a carport and small drive.

Notes on accommodation
There is both central heating and air conditioning.
There is a drop beyond the pool terrace which may make it unsuitable for toddlers unless under supervision.
Accessibility
The living area, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living areas, dining and pool terraces are all on the same level and accessible from the road.
Outside
The villa is surrounded by gardens stocked with mature attractive plants and shrubs.
There is a very good-sized private swimming pool overlooking the sea with several sun terraces and a large covered lounge and dining terrace, plus an extendable sun awning for one of the sun terraces. There are sun loungers with mats and also an outdoor shower.
A gate leads directly onto the cliff edge.
On the first floor there is a private sun terrace.
There is a garden, small drive and car port at the front of the house.
Coast/Beach
Cala Pi is situated on the south coast just outside the Bay of Palma. It has one of the most beautiful coves in Mallorca with a secluded sandy beach suitable for families, just 10 minutes walk from the villa.
Just 15/20 minutes drive a little way along the coast is Es Trenc, the best beach in Mallorca.
Golf
There is a golf course at Maioris a short 10/15 minute drive away.
Travel
Palma airport is just 25 minutes easy drive away.
Car hire is recommended as there are few proper food shops in Cala Pi, unless of course you don't want to cook and there are several very good restaurants in Cala Pi.

Palma is just 25/30 minutes drive away.
There are several shops and supermarkets on the way to Palma.
The nearest market town is Llucmajor, just 10/15 minutes drive, and Sa Rapita is another seaside village along the coast.
Further details
Cala Pi is a very quaint and unspoilt Spanish seaside village where many Mallorquins have weekend places. The beach is stunning and very safe and there are several excellent restaurants.
Excursions can be booked at the Cala Pi club a small and tasteful timeshare complex. Bike hire is also available from here.

About the owner
Robbie and Oliver bought Villa Lechuza in 2007 for their own use and to share with family, friends and others. They have both been coming to the island for many years but liked Cala Pi as it is slightly off the beaten track but still not too far from Palma. And as soon as they saw the view from the villa they knew they had found a very special place. Villa Lechuza is not your standard rented property but feel likes home the minute you walk through the door. We have been lucky with the people that have stayed so far, recognising that Villa Lechuza is a home and treating it as if it was their own. We hope that many more people will be able to enjoy this stunning and incredibly relaxing villa.
