The apartment is positioned in a quiet yet extremely convenient location. There are 2 hotels in Cala Vinyes both offering facilities to non-residents - 1 has recently been upgraded to 4 star - Jacuzzi, gym, beauty treatments etc. There are 3 restaurants opposite the apartment and several small supermarkets, 1 which bakes fresh bread daily. The apartment's large terrace enjoys sunshine from mid morning until sun set. However, it also has the benefit of a covered area if the heat becomes too much!

Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday high season. Other dates by arrangement.
Available from 2pm incoming - vacate by 11am (we will endeavour to be as flexible as possible depending on flights of incoming/outgoing guests).

Bedroom 1 has good quality kingsize bed with air conditioning. There is plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. Please note that the bedroom and bathroom are semi-open plan (see photo).

Cleaning/towels/

Towels and bedding are supplied (not beach towels). The apartment will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival. If you require extra cleaning or bedding this can be arranged possibly at a small extra cost. |
Notes on accommodation
Spacious accommodation suitable for all ages, however there is one flight of stairs to the apartment from ground level. The terrace area has a low wall and hand rail, the apartments are tiered (so the apartment is set back from the one underneath enabling sunshine to be on the terrace).
However, children should be supervised and not left on their own on the terrace.

Accessibility
Access would be difficult for a wheelchair user because of the one straight flight of stairs leading to the apartment. There is a ramp leading down to the pool.
Outside
The apartment is set in well manicured lawned gardens. The shared swimming pool is very large and well maintained. The complex is for owners and guests only and is gated to prevent misuse. There is a mutual regard for neighbours respecting noise levels and behaviour - ensuring everyone really enjoys their stay.
Coast/Beach
The apartment terrace overlooks the sandy beach of Cala Vinyes. It takes approx 12 minutes to walk to Magalluf beach with Palma Nova being the next large cove along. If you have a car there are several unspoilt beaches/coves on the doorstep, not recommended to walk to in the heat!
Golf
Mallorca is ideal for golfers all year round. There are 3 courses within a short driving distance.
Travel
The airport is Palma which is approximately 20 mins by car or taxi. Taxis are plentiful, however car hire is easy, provided you have a current driving licence and meet Spanish criteria.
The bus stops outside the apartments and runs along the coast to Palma. It is not essential to have a car but if you wish to explore the Island and its mountain areas then you would require one.
Distances
Shopping and sightseeing in Palma approx 20km (12 mins)
Nightlife in Magalluf 4km (4 mins).
There are 2 waterparks and go-karting less than 5 mins away. Marineland 10 mins.
A little further a field and recommended by car - Porto Cristo and the famouns Caves of Drach 70km, Porto Soller either by car or the old train through the orange groves from Palma 40km.
Further details
Cala Vinyes has every day to day convenience that a relaxing holiday requires. Small well stocked supermarkets, 2 hotels, car hire, taxis are frequent at the hotel or at the designated area. Hairdresser, money exchange, excursion booking. The snack bars/restaurants are more than happy to provide take-away meals if you prefer to eat on the terrace. Internet facilities available at either hotel or the small snack bar at a cost of approx 1 euro for 20 mins.
Booking notes
£100 non-refundable deposit per week. Balance 8 weeks prior to departure + £100 refundable bond following apartment inspection. Keys and information relating to the apartment will be sent by guaranteed post prior to your departure.
