Changeover day
Flexible, although we prefer either Friday or Saturday as the change over day during peak season as this is when most flights arrive. On day of arrival the villa will be ready for you at 2pm. On your day of departure, the villa is to be vacated by 10am.

The villa would have been cleaned for your arrival, all beds freshly made. Linen, bath towels and hand towels are provided which are changed weekly. Please take your own beach towels. The pool is fully maintained and an attendant will visit twice a week. |

Heating is available in this double glazed villa, at an additional cost from November to April.
Accessibility
Large wooden gate at entrance can be opened for car access to main house. Convenient if transporting heavy luggage, sleeping kids and wheelchairs.
Outside
New private sunken pool. Safe edges with steps at one side. 8 metres long by 3 metres wide. Modern sun loungers, movable barbecue, large dining tables, Mediterranean landscaped garden and covered arches which provide shaded areas for siestas. Great patios with lovely breeze coming in from the sea.
Coast/Beach
5 mins walk to an attractive sandy cove, where you can drink and eat under pine trees at the local hotel. You can also swim off the rocks, or walk along the coast to historic landmarks, such as lookout towers, and S'Algar with shops, restaurants, tennis courts, and bowling greens. 10 mins drive to large sandy beach at Punta Prima.
Water skiing at S'Algar, 15 mins scenic coastal walk, 5 mins by car.
Golf
18 hole golf course at Son Parc, approximately 15 - 20 minutes drive from villa.

Travel
Mahon - approximately 10 - 15 minutes from villa.

Local Spanish restaurants within walking distance of villa. Large supermarket approximately 5 -8 minutes by car which sells everything you need. Additional restaurants in S'Algar which is approximately 5 minutes by car or taxi.
Further details
Menorca is a historic island full of surprises, with its dramatic north coast and soft, pine-fringed beaches of the south. It's two main towns are fascinatingly different and full of character. Many beaches have pleasant eateries right on them, or nearby. Mahon harbour has a host of bars and restaurants. The town has interesting shops and two busy markets.
We can arrange horse riding, diving, sailing, golf and bike hire if required. We can recommend a local car hire company with discounted rates with car delivery to airport or villa. We can arrange pre-cooked food and wine to be delivered to your door. Arrangements can also be made with local therapist to visit who provides beauty treatments including manicure, pedicure, facials, Indian Head massage etc.

50% deposit to confirm booking. Balance to be paid 8 weeks before departure. £250 breakages deposit (refundable).

About the owner
Originally purchased by an Anglo-Irish family who migrated to Menorca in the '60s, the villa soon became the de-facto Irish Consulate and was a celebrated venue for the best family parties on the island. Often frequented by flamenco dancers, artists and those in search of Irish hospitality combined with the finest English wit. Inherited on the passing away of their charismatic Irish mother, the two sons decided to fully renovate the villa, adding modern touches to it's iconic limestone arches, and upgrading the property with an outdoor pool and tiled deck in 2009. The unspoilt sea views and serene tranquility have brought warmth and joy to many a family that has passed through Villa Tramontana's welcoming doors.
