A comfortable and appealing 2 storey apartment in a traditional townhouse that is about 100 years old. Recently refurbished in 2005 to a good standard, the apartment now offers a pleasing combination of Mallorcan charm with modern facilities. Outside there is a shared patio and super views over the mountains to the north and west of Soller. There is so much to do nearby, it is impossible to list it all, but you can mix and match from touring, beach, walking, cycling (but not all in the same day, please!) and of course just relax, sipping a coffee in the town square nearby.

Changeover day
Changeover day is usually Saturday, but other days can be arranged, particularly outside of high season. Longer stays can be arranged over the winter months.

The apartment is reached from the patio up one flight of stairs. Within the apartment there is a further flight of stairs.

Coast/Beach
The beach at Soller Port is about 1.5km away, and is easily reached by the quaint tram that connects the town and port. Alternatively you can drive or even walk.
Golf
Nearest golf course 15 minutes away.
Travel
Palma airport is about 35km away. You can travel to Soller by hire car, or by bus to Palma then train, or collection can be arranged. From the apartment there is a bus stop at 400m, and the taxi rank is 50m.
Distances
Soller Port is about 3km, served by a quaint wooden tram, and there is a wealth of things to visit nearby. Examples are Binairaix and Fornalutx - two of the prettiest villages in the area, and the monastery cell where Chopin and George Sands stayed in Valldemossa is nearby. The mountain train runs between Soller and Palma (5/6 times a day).
Further details
Soller and its Port are located in the beautiful north-western region of Mallorca. They are surrounded by the highest mountains in Mallorca, in a valley dominated by the Puig Major and L'Ofre. Soller is an attractive town, with many interesting buildings, including the parish church and the Convent of San Francisco. The landscape of the Soller valley is lovely, with groves of orange and lemons trees loaded with ripe fruit as early as February, and mountains terraced with olive trees.
People come to Soller for many reasons, and if you tire of the beach, the area is well-known for its walking opportunities (walk directly from the apartment). Boat rides can be arranged in the port. There are some spectacular scenic drives to Alcudia and Pollensa, and fascinating monasteries (Lluc) to visit at all times of the year. The pretty village of Deia (erstwhile home of the poet Robert Graves) is nearby.
There are plenty of things to do in Soller town itself, and many guests visit out of high season, to enjoy the better weather, excellent food and wine, and the pleasures of immersing yourself in Mallorcan town life.

A deposit of 20% is required (in euros) with the balance payable 28 days before arrival. Clients will be met at the property.
