Notes on accommodation
Other facilities include CD/DVD, hairdryers, safe, outdoor shower, electric juicer, beach towels, picnic equipment, playpen, radiators. The San Carlos mains water is rated safe to drink and there is also a water filter jug in the kitchen so there is no need to carry heavy bottles of water. Very good water pressure.
All beds have breathable mattress and pillow protectors for your comfort and all bed linen is good quality Egyptian cotton. All rooms have table fans. Air conditioning is not needed here as the villa is well designed for the climate. All rooms have radiators for cooler months.
Sorry no pets. Strictly a no smoking house except in the garden.

Accessibility
The villa is reached via tarmac roads, all easy driving.
There are no steps to access the property and no more than two steps anywhere inside.

Outside
There is ample parking space in the large courtyard for several cars. The outdoor shower has hot and cold water - great for cooling off or getting rid of the sand when you come back from the beach. There is a second teak dining table and chairs under the palm trees and several benches. There are sun loungers and plenty of chairs which you can move around the garden to suit your desire for sun and shade. A paddling pool is available for the younger children and several toys. Older children have board games, chess, table football. Adults can also play with the barbecue or just relax, listen to music, the sound of the birds in the palm trees and the gentle swoosh of the sea which is only 100 yards away. The high white walls make this a very private garden.

Coast/Beach
The access point to the fabulous Cala Llenya bay is 100 metres away and you can walk onto the beach in 3 minutes. There is also plenty of parking behind the beach. There are sunbeds and parasols for hire from May to October and a beach cafe. There are many lovely beaches and bays around the island but Cala Llenya is one of the best for sunbathing and swimming and very safe for children. There are a couple of pedaloes and a volleyball pitch at the back of the beach but no noisy water sports.

Travel
San Carlos village is 4 minutes away by car, Santa Eulalia 10 minutes away and Ibiza airport 35 minutes. Car hire is recommended to be able to see the island's many beautiful features although you would have to come back several times to see them all. Driving is generally less stressful as there is little traffic in this area. Ibiza roads are very well maintained.

Distances
Benirras beach, famous for the Sunday drumming sessions at sunset, is half an hour away. Ferries run regularly around the island and to Formentera. The glass bottomed boat sails from a nearby beach. You will need several holidays here to see all the lovely beaches and sea views and the gentle countryside and villages - or you could decide to stay put and just chill, chill, chill.

Further details
There are two golf courses at Roca Lisa, one 18 holes and the other 9. Most sports are available, including water sports and diving tuition. There are several good fitness gyms in Santa Eulalia, all offering short term memberships, some with spas and treatments.
There is a small supermarket within easy reach and several good restaurants. San Carlos has 2 small supermarkets, a pharmacy, bank, private medical clinic, hairdresser and several shops and restaurants including an antique shop and the Bar Anita, made famous in hippy days.
The hippy market at Las Dalias is on the road to Santa Eulalia. This attractive little town has lots of small shops, a wonderful indoor food market, welcoming bars and restaurants, all child friendly. There is a long, level promenade next to the sea, a new luxury marina area, a medical centre, banks and tourist information. There are numerous opportunities here and along the roadsides to stop and buy fresh farm vegetables, fresh meats and fish. Ibiza town also has a large marina with restaurants and shops, a harbour full of interesting activity and the ancient and very beautiful Dalt Vila old town built on a hill and overlooking the harbour.
The island of Ibiza is very picturesque with its white washed churches and houses, its gentle landscape with small fields, often filled with wild flowers and its beautiful coastal scenery and pine clad hills. The air is clean, the light is bright and the sunsets are stunning. Come to Ibiza and feed your soul.
