The house was designed and built by the owner as a labour of love and represents a historic work of breathtaking beauty. On arriving through the main security gates you follow the driveway to the main house through the overhanging African Pine and past the fruit tree orchard. The gardens are wonderful to wander through at any time of the year representing as they do both Spanish and English horticulture. The pool area has an enormous terrace as well as a covered outside bar with Bose music system, a barbecue, shower with seating, jacuzzi and tennis court with service master. Inside the property all rooms are serviced by another Bose sound system, as well as wireless internet, central heating, air conditioning, satellite TV, home entertainment system including wide screen TV and surround sound and quality furnishings throughout. From bathrooms to kitchen, lounge to dining areas this property is equipped to the highest standard and will please even the most discerning of travellers.

Towels and linen are included and changed weekly, this can be changed to suit guests preferences. The maids visit Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm. Gardeners and pool maintenance 2-3 times weekly as required. |

Outside
The property has wonderful landscaped gardens that will appeal to everyone. The African pine lined driveway leads to a a large circular plaza with a water fountain centrally located in front of the property. The fruit orchard has native fruit trees and guests can pick oranges, lemon and limes to enjoy. The terrace has more than enough room to accommodate 20 bathers and the bar, barbecue and dining area provide relief from the summer heat. The view from the rear dining area is simply magnificent and hours can be spent dining and eating whilst overlooking the valley below. The private pool is set beside a stone wall and is central to the terrace and bar area. the bar area house a jacuzzi/hot tub, ideal for relaxing in whilst taking a cocktail. The Olympic standard tennis court has a servemaster for those wishing to practice their returns and volleys alone. All in all the beauty, tranquility and serenity of Can Torre is something that once experienceed will never be forgotten.
Coast/Beach
The numerous coves and beaches of Cala d'Or are only 5 mins away by car. There are too many beaches in the area to mention but around 15 beaches are reachable by car within 20 mins drive.
Golf
The villa is less than 10 minutes to the renowned Vall d'Or Golf Club. Originally built as a 9-hole course in 1985 it was extended to an 18-hole course in 1993. Designed by well known golf architect Bradford Benz whose other courses include the Northgate Golf Club in Reno, Nevada and the Beijing Golf Club in the People's Republic of China. Vall d'Or is a par 71 course with enough doglegs, water hazards and woodland rough to test any golfer. Yet the course remains a favourite with golfers of all abilities. The course has a driving range and the hire of clubs, buggies, trolleys and caddies are available. The clubhouse has a snack bar and a la carte restaurant serving food from 11.30am - 10.30pm. There is also a lounge, bar, games room, terrace and pro's shop. The reception is open from 7.30am daily.
Special interest holidays
The location of this villa makes it very popular with cyclists and walkers. Cycle excursions/hire is easy to arrange and are well worth considering in this beautiful area, excursions normally last 3 hours and can be either 'easy' or 'gnarly', for cycle hire the bikes are delivered to your door for the required time. Walkers can leave the front door and immediately be on the trails of the foothills of either the famous San Salvador monastery or equally famous Castille de Santuiri. Scuba Diving courses for beginners, intermediate or advanced divers are also easily arranged as are snorkel safaris during the summer months. Windsurf courses and hire are available as well, the courses last a minimum of three days and are available to anybody over the age of 10 years. All these activities can be arranged on booking with Adam. If you have questions about any other sporting activities that interest you please feel free to ask.
Travel
Son Sant Juan airport in Palma is the islands only commercial airport and is located approx 45 mins drive. The Port of Palma is approx 60 mins drive. Car hire is recommended, either locally or for collection at the airport both can be arranged when booking. Taxi's can also be arranged.
