Changeover day
Saturday - Saturday. Arrival at 16:00 hours. Departure at 10:00 hours. We work hard at accommodating every body's needs so that your holiday runs smoothly if a earlier/later arrival departure into the villa is needed please enquire at the time of booking.

Notes on accommodation
All rooms have ceiling fans plus one air-conditioning unit with reverse cycle heating for summer and winter months.
ETV. Registered. This is a license given by the department of tourism regarding all legal / rentable villas and complying with all health and safety issues and occupancy.

Outside
Detached villa with large spacious garden enclosed by trees/bushes making it very private. There is a covered terrace with table and chairs for alfresco dining leading from the living room via patio doors. Private swimming pool 4m x 9m (13ft x 38ft), with enough sun beds for everybody, barbecue, and car parking spaces.

Coast/Beach
Villa Pollentia is less than a 5 minute drive to the long golden beaches of Alcudia and Port of Pollensa. The golden bay of Alcudia is the biggest bay in Mallorca. Both beaches offer excellent water sports and boat trips.

Golf
Alcanada (Alcudia) is a championship standard 18 hole golf course, with stunning sea views from almost every fairway. Not to be left out, non players can enjoy a sumptuous lunch from the clubhouse terrace. Pollensa Golf Club 15 min drive away.

Travel
Palma Airport 40 minutes on motorway. Transfers can be arranged /available upon request.

Distances
300 metres to the Old historic walled town of Alcudia and all amenities. Alcudia Water Park is a 5 min drive away. Pollensa town with its winding streets, ancient churches and famous 365 steps leading up to one of the many churches. Puig de Maria with years of history can be reached by car, then on foot to the monastery with breathtaking views approx 20 mins drive away. Can Picafort with its pavement cafes and competition go-karting track. Approx 30 mins by car.

Further details
Local shops, restaurants, chemists, banks, supermarkets, museum and hospital can be found within 300 metres from the villa. Less than a half a mile to access the bus service. Train station approx 20 min drive away. Close to motorway access. Nearby there is a indoor gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, tennis, paddle courts, all within a 5 min car drive also shows/discos. Local activities include bicycle hire, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, roller blading, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, wind-surfing. One of the biggest/fastest Go-Karting tracks can be found in C'an Picafort.
Alcudia is the main centre for cycling, attracting thousands of cyclists to its bicycle friendly roads with its spectacular scenery. Even the casual cyclist can rent a bike here and enjoy many hours cycling along the specially designated cycle tracks which lie next to many major roads.
The North of Mallorca with its vast mountain range is the prime walking country. Why not visit Mallorca in autumn and spring when the weather is cooler, and ideal for both walking and cycling? Why not walk or cycle around the S'Albufera Nature Park (Alcudia) it is the largest and most important wetland area in the Balearic's? The area is a former lagoon separated from the sea by a belt of dunes, which for many centuries has filled up with sediments converting it into an extensive flood plain. The Natural Park, which stretches across some 1708 hectares of marsh and dune land is a protected conservation region. The area is an internationally protected area for wild birds, and is home to considerable wildlife.

Deposit to be paid via bank transfer, 50% of the total holiday cost. The balance to be paid upon arrival to the villa. Bookings can be made by telephone, email or by post.
