The beautiful Spanish fishing village of Porto Cristo is 5km away and home to tourist attractions including the 'Dragon Caves' / 'Cuevas del Drach. Changeover day
Changeover day is on a Saturday, but we may be able to be flexible on this. On receipt of full payment keys will be despatched. The apartment can be accessed from 2pm on day of arrival but must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Notes on accommodation
The building remains cool in the summer. However, retractable mosquito nets across the patio doors ensure a comfortable, welcoming breeze can be achieved without the risk of being eaten alive! During the cooler winter months, an oil-filled radiator is provided.
There is a safe in the apartment.
Smoking is allowed on the balcony only.

Accessibility
'Casa Privilegio' is accessed through the rear of the property. Road-level access is on 'floor two' of the building. Our apartment is reached via two flights of stairs to 'floor four'.
Outside
A large private balcony boasts spectacular views across the bays of Cala Mandia and Cala Anguila. High quality furniture ensures that the terrace - with its accompanying soundtrack of lapping ocean - remains welcoming at breakfast, lunch or for that essential evening tipple!
Coast/Beach
Casa Privilegio is within walking distance of 3 beautiful beaches: Cala Mandia, Cala Anguila and Cala Romantica. All three boast fine whie sand, crystal clear waters and beach front cafes and restaurants.
Cala Mandia and Cala Anguila have been awarded the coveted 'blue flag' status for their cleanliness and environmental credentials, whilst the larger Cala Romantica offers watersports and organised activities including beach volleyball. All are very safe for children.
Travel
Palma airport is 67km away.
Hiring a car is definitely recommended -the route to the apartment is straight forward and along new, dual-carriageway roads. The journey takes approximately 40minutes.
Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall. In theory, taxis operate on a fixed price basis, typically charging 60-65 euros.
Generally, taxi's do not carry child seats. We strongly recommend that you make arrangements for a pre-booked taxi to be waiting for yoy, and specify your needs.
Distances
3 beaches and a range of restaurants and shops, a bank, a chemist and a medical centre are all within walking distance.
Cala Mandia is served by an hourly 'road train' to the centre of Porto Cristo - the train stop is 100m from the apartment. 5 buses a day operate between Porto Cristo and Palma.

Further details
Nearby Porto Cristo is still a very typical Spanish fishing village.
The focus of the village is its natural harbour, which provides safe mooring for both fishing boats and in more recent years an ever increasing number of leisure craft.
During the evening, Cala Mandia and Porto Cristo are both quiet resorts, perfect if you want to retreat and get away from it all, but still within easy reach of the more lively Cala Millor which is only a short taxi ride away.
The 'Caves of Drac' and the 'Caves of Hams' in Porto Cristo are arguably two of the islands biggest tourist attractions. However, glass-bottom boat trips, aquariums and even a safari centre will also jostle for your attention.
