The complex is built in traditional Menorcan style on the northern coast of Menorca. It overlooks the sandy beach of Son Saura de Nord. It has an attractive swimming pool with a separate shallow infants' pool. A small supermarket two minutes walk away provides basic necessities including fresh bread and milk daily.

Notes on accommodation
A local management company is retained to provide guests on request, with additional items such as cots, high chairs, welcome food packs, etc. Costs on application.
Changeover Day: Access is from 2.00pm on the day of arrival and the property
needs to be vacated by 10.00am local time on the day of departure
Accessibility
The apartment is on the first floor and accessed by an outside staircase. Guests are reminded of the need to supervise children while using the swimming pool. Car hire is strongly recommended.
Outside
The balcony has table and chairs and you are welcome to use the simple pool chairs and umbrella from the apartment. The extensive communal gardens are well maintained. The swimming pool is attractively landscaped with an infants' shallow pool and is approx 40' x 20', with a solid rock diving board and communal shower.
Coast/Beach
The blue flag sandy Son Saura de Nord beach is a short 4 minute walk and a red cross post is manned during the summer. Pedalo hire available. A variety of secluded sandy beaches are also accessible along the northern coast all within a 30 minute drive.
Golf
The 18 hole Golf course is a 5 minute drive away. Golf clubs and buggies available for hire. Driving range and twin tennis courts available on the same site.
Travel
Mahon airport is a 25 minute drive and car hire is recommended from the airport. Alternatively, taxis are available.
Distances
Fornells (on the coast) and Mercadel (inland) are 15 minutes by car. Mahon town is 25 minutes, and the old capital, Cuitadella, approximately 45 minutes. Anywhere on the island can be reached by car in an hour.
Further details
Son Parc has various restaurants and four supermarkets. There is a cash point at the local hotel. Fornells has many restaurants overlooking the bay and there are centres for windsurfing, sailing and scuba diving. Chartering services also available. Internet access available at the golf course and local hotel. Look out for the local fiestas, a must if you are visiting.
Booking notes
Deposit of £100 to secure booking, payment of the balance two months prior to departure. The deposit is non-refundable, 50% refund if cancelled within six weeks. An additional returnable £100 deposit, to cover minor breakages, extra cleaning and key return.

We bought our apartment 19 years ago and although our children are now grown up, we still manage to get together there at least once a year. We enjoy the chance to relax and to meet up with friends we've made there over the years.

We chose our apartment because it is 2 minutes walk from a wonderful beach and there are restaurants and the only golf course on the island is in Son Parc.
Unique benefits of the property
The development is attractive with a lovely pool and the views from the balcony are spectacular. This side of the island is quieter.
