Los Olivos has a private drive down to the villa and has all modern conveniences for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. the well maintained gardens have lawned areas and fruit and olive trees. It is only a minute walk to the nearest restaurant and 3/4 minutes to the nearest supermarket. A short drive or 15 min walk takes you to Sans Lluis, a bustling town and with a large supermarket just out of town which stocks non food items as well. The villa has the benefit of central heating for cooler out of season periods and also a safe and security alarm for extra protection. It is well furnished and equipped and has an outdoor BBQ, covered terrace and comfortable outdoor furniture. Situated in the south east of the island it is close to several sandy beaches as well as rocky coast lines which are ideal for scuba diving. The capital of Mahon in only 10 minutes drive and has its beautiful marina, lively fish and indoor fruit and vegetable market as well as many historic places of interest.

Changeover day
Monday changeover but flexible dates may be available outside of peak times.

Accommodation
Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 is a twin bedroom.
Bedroom 2 is a twin bed room.
Bedroom 3 has a double bed. This room has doors leading out onto a small private terrace overlooking the gardens.
Bedroom 4 is a twin bedroom.
All bedroom have fitted wardrobes.
Bathrooms: Bedroom 1 and 2 share a family bathroom down stairs with a walk in shower and storage cupboard. Upstairs is a further modern bathroom and bedroom 3 and bedroom 4.
Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped with a ceramic hob and cooker, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer.
Utility Room: There is a laundry room near the main entrance with a washing machine and separate sink. Access to an external drying area and a store room for some of the outdoor furniture.
Living Rooms: The spacious lounge is open plan with a dining area and table and chairs for 8. Doors open onto a covered terrace and the pool and gardens. There is a TV with some English channels and a DVD player, music system, small library and comfortable sofas.
Other: For each arrival there will be food pack containing basic ingredienst plus wine and a beer pack. Also available free of charge is a travel cot, high chair and buggy to save on your luggage.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The house will be cleaned for your arrival and linen and towels provided but not beach towels. For a 2 week holiday the house will have a linen change after one week and light clean. Additional maid service can be provided at extra cost.

Notes on accommodation
This is an ideal family home with plenty of garden space for children. There is also another villa within 3 minutes walk that is also available for letting for another 8 people if you have an extended family or special party holiday. For your added enjoyment we can also arrange a mobile beauty service to the villa, private scuba diving lessons in the pool and even an at home fun casino night; prices on application.
The house is maintained by a professional management company on the island who are available out of office hours to help you with any enquiries you may have.

Accessibility
The villa is on 2 floors with no specific wheelchair access, although 2 of the bedrooms are on the ground floor.

Outside
The private swimming pool is 10x5m and has another covered terrace area ideal for outdoor eating or just resting in the shade. Sunbeds are provided. The gardens are lawn,
shrubs and trees and all well maintained and you may well see the pool cleaner and gardenes during your stay but they will be as discreet as possible

Coast/Beach
There is a choice of beaches nearby all within a 15 minute car drive. Punta Prima has a large sandy beach, bars, shops and parking. Salgar is a rocky coast but with several water sports to choose from, scuba diving, water skiing, sailing etc.
Binibeca is a popular beach resort with a range of shops, bars and restaurants and smaller sandy beach. Parking available but can get very busy in the height of the season.

Golf
There is an 18 hole golf course in Son Parc which is about a 30 minute drive from the villa. Hire of equipment is available from the shop and tee times can also be booked; prices according to times. Son Parc also has a lovely sandy beach and resort facilities.

Travel
Distance to airport is about a 15 minute drive and a car is recommended; car hire can be arranged with a local company and cars can be collected and left at the airport.

Distances
Sans Lluis is the nearest town and has lots of shops, bars and restaurants and is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive. There is a large supermarket just outside of the town which caters for most requirements. The capital of Mahon is a further 10 minute drive and a walk or drive along the marina is well worth the time. watch the fishermen land their catches, see the ferries and cruise liners come and go or generally just watch the world go by at one of the pavement cafes all along the marina.

Further details
There is something to interest everyone in Menorca from the sun, sea and sand to walking and cycling routes, places of historic interest, sailing, water sports. There are daily markets in various towns around the island and the former capital of Cuitadella is worth a visit with its open esplanades, pavement cafes and shops as well as a thriving port.

Booking notes
A provisional booking can be made and held for 7 days whilst the deposit is paid and received. A deposit of 20% is required to secure the holiday and a returnable deposit of 5% to cover damages. The balance of the holiday is payable 8 weeks before the holiday. In the event of the holiday being booked less than 8 weeks prior, full payment is to be made. Holiday costs will not be refunded if cancelled within 8 weeks of the holiday.
