The apartment is secure and well equipped and comfortable having a good outlook to the swimming-pool and sea. Locally there are two restaurants 3 snack-bars and 3 small supermarkets, car rental, money exchange, excursion booking. The two hotels in Cala Vinas usually have evening entertainment. The bus to Palma stops outside the apartments. It passes through Magaluf and Palma Nova, from there many buses travel to different areas of the island.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Please enquire for prices if a letting of more than 2 weeks.
Changeover day
A preferred booking from Saturday to Saturday in high season but we do try to accommodate all dates. Arrival and departure times are preferred to make preparation of apartment (cleaning etc).

Bedroom 1 with double bed, fitted wardrobes, dresser and bedside tables, ceiling fan. Patio door to lower balcony.
Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside table, desk and ceiling fan. |

There is one large bathroom with wash basin, bidet, toilet and bath with over shower. |
| Kitchen: |
The kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washer, toaster, kettle and microwave. |

The living room has a sofa and two arm chairs, TV, DVD and CD players, standard fan. In the dining area a table and four chairs. The room opens onto the upper level balcony which has a patio table and 4 chairs. |

There is a store-room which holds the cleaning equipment and houses the boiler. |
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: |
Bed-linen and towels (not beach towels) are provided. The apartment will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival and then again every seven days. More cleaning or laundery can be arranged at extra cost. |
Notes on accommodation
The apartment has an open staircase between floors, so vigilance would be needed for small children. For winter holidays if needed, there are heaters and duvets for the beds.

Outside
These apartments have beautiful, mature and well maintained gardens, there is a tennis court and private parking. Down at the newly renovated pool, lounger beds and parasols are provided. A barbeque can also be hired. All these facilities are private and for sole use of owners and their visitors. In the pool vicinity there is a snack bar/restaurant which delivers good food and open usually April till late in the season.
Coast/Beach
The beach in Cala Vinas is only a short walk down some steps and through the gardens. It is a small enclosed bay with sandy beach and overhung with palm trees. The other beach in Cala Vinas - Cap Falco, is within walking distance. Going in the opposite direction, although longer (15 mins) takes you to the big extensive beaches of Magaluf and Palma Nova. The promenade stretches for miles where you can meander aimlessly taking a coffee, having a meal, watching the world go by.
Golf
There is three golf courses in Calvia area all within easy reach by car.
Travel
The nearest airport is Palma. 20 mins by car or taxi. Taxis are plentiful and car-hire is easy providing you have a Driving Licence. By public transport, the bus stops outside the apartments to Palma, where you can then catch another bus to the airport. The port for the ferries is in Palma. Valencia - Palma, Barcelona - Palma.
Distances
Some distances to places of interest 20km. Palma cathedral, ancient buildings, museums, the port, shops and eating places. 60km. Port of Soller, travel by the old train from Palma. 40km. Valldemosa, the orange groves and monastery. 70km. Porto Cristo, to the famous Caves of Drach.

In Cala Vinas there is 2 restaurants, 2 snack bars, 3 small supermarkets, car rental, money exchange, excursion booking, and there is two hotels which usually offer evening entertainment.
There is also a casino in the near vicinity which has floor shows and eating. A little further afield taking a taxi, car or bus although still in walking distance, to Magaluf, there is the aqua-park, go-carting, shopping and in the evenings at Magaluf there is The Pirates night and numerous restaurants or nightclubs. Portals nous is an interesting visit for children going to nature land and Porta Portals, the same area for visiting the port with lots of trendy eating places, coffee shops and boutiques. Of course travelling even further and especially to Palma, the capital of Mallorca boasting old buildings, narrow streets and a cathedral dating back to the 1200's or travelling inland to Inca for leather shoes and Manacor for the famous Majorcan Pearls. Mallorca abounds with places of interest. Many off the track routes still wanting to be explored.
Booking notes
With the booking, a non-refundable deposit of £180 per week is required and the balance paid 8 weeks prior to first date of booking. We also ask a small bond of £150 for breakages, this of course this will be returned to you on the safe receipt of apartment keys to myself and the apartment found complete by property manager.
