First floor apartment set in lovely gardens with palm trees. Choice of 3 pools and 4 restaurants, there is also a maze, water shutes, tennis courts and children's play area. Set behind a nature reserve with a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the resort centre with plenty of choice of bars/resturants and shops. The shops range from seaside bucket and spade to more upmarket, plenty of supermarkets and a chemist. Son bou boasts the largest beach and is ideal for small children. There are plenty of sun loungers and water sports. Son bou is only 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Mahon. The apartment is fully managed so there is always someone to help.

Changeover day
Friday change over. Apartment available from 2pm. Departure 11am unless otherwise advised.

Notes on accommodation
Apartment is geared up for families/couples, lots of extras, a hairdryer is supplied, cooler bags and picnic equipment an iron and ironing board. There are sun umberellas and plenty of beach toys. The apartment is fully managed, the reception is 5 minutes away. All of the staff speak English and are there to help if needed. They can advise on bus timetables, places to visit etc. You can also hire security boxes there. If any appliance breaks, please report to reception and they will arrange a replacement.
Accessibility
Not suitable for wheelchair users as access to apartment via stairs.
Outside
The apartment has two balconies. The front one has an awning, table and chairs/sun loungers. The gate can be secured to stop little ones escaping. Views over the well kept gardens. The back one has chairs, a toybox and a clothes airer.
Coast/Beach
Sonbou is the longest beach and is about a 10/15 minute walk. Lifeguards, first aid and plenty of water sports are avaliable. The beach is child friendly as the sea is shallow for a long way out. You will always be able to find your very own quite spot. There are 3 beach bars, which of an evening is a nice spot to sit have a drink and watch the sun go down.
Golf
There is one 18 hole golf course at Son Parc, 20 minutes away.
Travel
Mahon airport is about 15 minute drive or taxi ride. Airport transfers can be aranged. Several low cost airlines operate out of the UK. Help can be given on flights. Car hire is not essential but can be arranged or advice given.
Distances
The local town of Alaior is 4 miles. The capital with its shops markets and history is 12 miles (20 minutes). Cituadella is 40 minutes drive which was the original capital. Other lovely beaches can be reached by a short drive.
Further details
There are plenty of cash machines around Son Bou and you can also change currency and travellers cheques at reception. The San Jamie complex has an internet cafe and amusements. A medical centre near to the apartment. Plenty of supermarkets, lots of restaurants and bars/discos and nightly entertainment and a bowling alley.
Entry to the apartment will be from 2pm and apartment to be vacated by 11am unless otherwise advised. Sometimes we can be more flexible, depending on the next clients arrivals.
There are shower facilities at reception with towels supplied and luggage storage if you have a later flight.
Booking notes
On confirming booking you will be sent a booking form and two rental contracts, one for you to keep and the other to be returned back to us with deposit. Once received we will then send you a receipt. Balance is due 6 weeks prior to holiday, on receipt of payment you will then be sent a property imformation booklet.

My wife, 2yr old daughter and myself stopped here in early may and had terrific time. The apartment was exactly as described, was clean,great condition and in close proximity to all amenities. The owners were extremely helpfull and great communications. And would recommend apartment and resort to anyone especially families. Hire car for couple of days and ventured out and would also recomend santa Galdana for a visit. Also resort staff were very helpfull and couldnt do enough for you. And wouldnt hesitate in using this resort and apartment for future holidays. Jake
My husband & I plus our 3 children (2,5,14) all loved the resort of Son Bou and the apartment, it was clean and well maintained and in an ideal location. We visted Menorca in June 2007 just before my sons 2nd Birthday.
