Our much loved villa is a spacious four bedroom property situated on a magnificent plot overlooking open countryside and with a long sweeping drive. Much of the surrounding land belongs to 'Timonera' and the gardens are quite magnificent, with almond and olive trees, figs, grapevines, shady pines and bougainvillea, amongst many others. Recently refurbished Timonera is bright, light and very spacious with stunning vaulted ceilings. The large pool is situated in an enclosed area, making this a safer villa for young children. Timonera is an upside down house with all the bedrooms on the ground floor and all with doors to the courtyard or garden. The courtyard has an atmospheric feel with lime-stone flagged floor and natural stone walls. There is a large table and chairs under the covered area, further rustic, Menorcan tiled bench-seating under the grape vine, built-in barbecue, bougainvillea and almond trees. If you want complete peace and privacy then Timonera is your ideal place.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Prices marked with an asterisks (*) are for a party of up to four people, please add £50 per person over 4 per week. We hold a returnable damage deposit of £300 for Christmas and New Year and £200 for all other times.
Changeover day
Friday is changeover day and is not flexible during the season. Out of season we try to be as flexible as possible. The villa is available to you from 3pm and we ask that you vacate by 10am.

Outside
There is a lovely built in barbecue and a new covered area for shady dining. Beside the pool there is another covered area for when that sun gets just a bit too hot. The garden consists of many different areas linked and separated by paths, doors and archways.
Coast/Beach
The lovely Es Grau beach is five minutes drive (or 30 minutes walk for the energetic). The furthest beach on the Island is probably less than an hours drive!
Golf
There is a golf course, now extended to a full eighteen holes, at Son Parc, about 20 minutes drive.
Special interest holidays
The S'Albufera lake is the last fresh water 'stop over' for birds migrating between Europe and Africa and is the main reason that Menorca was chosen to be designated a protected biosphere. It is now a protected wild life sanctuary noted for its wealth of bird life. Fascinating for those interested in wildlife. There is a very good diving school at Binibeca.
Travel
Timonera is about fifteen minutes drive from the airport and ten from Mahon. You really do need a car, which we can organise for you at very reasonable prices. Although quite a small Island there so much that's worth going to see, it would be a shame to miss it all! You would be met at the airport and your car would be right outside. The ferry Port in Mahon is about ten minutes, and the ferry Port in Ciutadella is about 45 minutes.
Distances
The whole Island is only about 32 miles by 12, so you are never very far from anywhere!
Further details
There is a really good supermarket a short drive away, and of course loads of great shops in Mahon. At Es Grau beach there is a beach bar and a good restaurant with decking that goes out over the water. There is a very good diving school at Binibeca, only about fifteen minutes drive away.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is needed to secure your booking. The balance is due not less than eight weeks before your holiday. We hold a damage deposit of £200. (£300 at Christmas and New Year) There is no deposit to pay for car hire and payment for that is due on arrival.
