Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is within 10 minutes walk. Cala San Vicente has 3 picturesque sandy beaches ideal for children. Suitable for snorkeling, fishing and swimming. Pedalos, sunbeds and parasols are available for hire. There are bars and restaurants at the 2 larger beaches, where there are lifeguards in season.
Travel
Palma is the nearest airport, which is about a 45 minute drive. Taxis and car hire are available at the airport and it is useful, although not essential to hire a car. We will organise a private transfer at a cost of 50 euros each way if required.
Distances
Pollenca and Puerto Pollenca is about 5km away. Formentor and its beach is about 10km away. The old town of Alcudia is about 10km away and the port of Alcudia another 2 kms. There are buses and taxis available in Cala San Vincente and a glass bottom boat goes from Puerto Pollenca to Formentor regularly in the season.
Further details
Cala San Vicente is the charming local village and has a small selection of gift shops, newsagents, 2 supermarkets, hairdressers, internet cafe, mini golf, car hire, bank with ATM, selection of bars and restaurants. Easy access to picturesque coastal and hill walks.
Booking notes
A deposit of £100 is requested at the time of booking and full payment should be made 6 weeks before departure. In addition we request a deposit of £100 to cover the cost of any breakages, excessive cleaning etc. This is returned immediately on your return, once the villa has been checked.
