Single person occupancy £65 per day. All rates are per room, VAT and include breakfast. All prices per person based on two sharing.
For single person occupancy:

We accept any day of arrival and no minimum stay.

Matchani Gran (Sleeps up to 25)

6 bedrooms with air conditioning and 6 with ceiling fans. All rooms are en-suite with full baths except the Carriage House and West room which only have showers. The Master Suite and Junior Suite are upstairs with a large lounge, bar area and 40 ft patio which is not open to other guests. Both of these rooms are very large with very big bathrooms. Rented separately or ideal for 2 couples. The 4 South rooms all have air conditioning and are accessed from the South patio where there is a seating area as well as the porch. The 3 North rooms have a large 200sqft private patio with ceiling fans overlooking the fields. The Carriage House is on the side of the woods and has a sun/shade patio. Very popular with repeat guests. The North 4 poster in on the side of the house with very large ceilings and. There is a shaded patio on the side of the room. The West Room has air conditioning with a shower room.

Notes on accommodation
All rooms are tastefully decorated in keeping with the 300 year old house, tea and coffee making facilities, shampoo bath gel and hairdryer. We provide sanctuary and are not open to the public. All rooms can accommodate a double room and in some rooms we have 2 singles. The configuration can be changed to suit your choice of beds. Breakfast is served, (not self service! you are on holiday) and consists of fresh melon, fruit juices, cereals, fresh croissants and bread purchased daily from the local bakery, boiled scrambled or poached eggs and a selection of fresh fruit and yogurts. We even do a fried breakfast once a week. We usually cook an evening meal on the day of your arrival and will provide lunch if you arrive before 2pm. There is a fridge BBQ and kitchen available for guests. You may drink your own booze,or join me at the bar every night. There is a mess book for each guest.

Accessibility
Matchani is all on one level and we have catered for wheelchairs, crutches, the old and infirm, as well as the inebriated.

Outside
Not suitable for children and we are unable to accept them. The pool is not fenced off and there is no life guard.35ft solar heated pool. Plenty of loungers with cushions, shaded swinging chairs, covered outside seating area, outside and inside dining area, large covered bar, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits and cakes. Boules court, 4 other hidden patios. The garden is my pride and joy. Best lawns on the Island and 15 year old mature garden. 25 acres for the 40 odd sheep and 3 donkeys. We have looked after groups of birdwatchers for 10 years, and I even saw a coupe of bee eaters the other day. Herman toitoises everywhere and even a private wood.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is a 40 min walk or 4 min drive. There are 6 other beautiful beaches only a 10 min drive away.

Travel
We are 5 mins away from the airport and I can meet you in the dusty airport limo. No problem and no charge. A car is very helpful to explore the Island. The local village of Sant Climent is a 10 min stroll where there are 4 restaurants and regular buss service. Also banks, chemist, bakeries, English pub, paper shop and chocolate shop! We can arrange for a car to meet you at the airport or to be delivered to Matchani.

Booking notes
We can pencil you in while you check your flights, with no obligation. We would like a 50% deposit upon confirmation of your flight, with the balance due 8 weeks before the holidays. We can accept credit cards or a cheque sent to Menorca. Could you also provide full names, flight details and dietary requirements.
