Set on 3 floors, the 3rd bedroom has its own entrance, a kitchenette, sitting room and own terrace, all overlooking the Mediterranean. The master bedroom suite and the 2nd large double bedroom with its own bathroom are located on the top floor, benefiting from amazing sea views and having direct access to the private, secluded pool. Outside there are several furnished terraces from which to spend your days. The house benefits from both having the sun all day long, every day, all year round, and breathtaking sunsets.

Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Friday, but there may be some flexibility. If your available dates don't fit with the changeover, then please ask. Arrival time is 3.30pm and departure time is 10.30am.

Notes on accommodation
The house benefits from central-heating that can be regulated room by room. All rooms except bathrooms have ceiling fans. There is an air-conditioning unit in bedroom 2. The pool area and terraces are child safe in that there are gates to prevent unsupervised child access. Pool toys are included for use in the pool. Wireless broadband is also provided.

Accessibility
The house is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
The outside area offers so many opportunities to relax. The 30ft pool is set in a lovely terrace with sunbeds and umbrella for shade, and a side view of the sea, so one can lay back read a book or simply watch the yachts sail by or dream of climbing the adjacent Tramuntana mountains. There is another furnished terrace that offers a lot of shade and is a great place for a siesta. Directly in front of the kitchen is alfresco dining with built-in BBQ facilities - a magical place to eat outside and enjoy the sunset. Adjacent to this area is a large terrace with sunbeds; another ideal place to watch the boats, finishing off with the sun setting directly in front of you.
Coast/Beach
For beach lovers, Cala Deia is not to be missed. Part rock, part sand, with crystal clear water and two great casual restaurants. It's easy to spend a whole day at the Cala and wonder where the day went! The Cala is a 15-20 minutes pretty walk (5 mins by car) from the house.
Golf
Golf is 40 minutes away by car.
Special interest holidays
There are lots of great walks from Deia - both into the Tramuntana mountains, and along the coastline taking you to Soller (1.5 hours) and Valldemossa (4 hours). Both offer spectacular views along the way.
Travel
Palma Airport is 40 minutes away. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
Palma is 30 minutes away by car, and there is public transport. Soller, the Port of Soller and Valldemossa are all 15 minutes drive. There is public transport within a 5 minutes walk of the house.
Further details
There are many top quality restaurants and shops in Deia. There is a great shop/bakery that not only serves fresh bread every day and offers a wide array of English and German newspapers, but is a perfect place to stock up on your supplies. There are two banks in the village both with ATM machines and offering foreign exchange. Strictly no smoking. No pets allowed.
Booking notes
The booking procedure is 25% of the total cost of the stay is paid in advance to reserve the property. The remainder plus 1,000 Euros deposit is payable no later than 10 weeks prior to the commencement of the reservation period. The bond will be refunded in full providing there is no damage to the property or the contents of the property, upon hand-over of the keys on check-out.
Guest comments
An amazing house; even better because everything is new and of good quality. A great base - close to the village and Deia beach, and yet, so peaceful. We loved the third bedroom suite for our nanny. It gave her total privacy and yet she was still in an integral part of the house. If you want a nice, relaxing holiday, this villa is right up there. Can't wait to come back next year!
