This brand new villa has been finished to the highest specification with all the comforts of home and air conditioning throughout. The extensive roof terraces overlook the pool and the pine groves beyond to the sea. Just a short stroll from the centre of Cala Murada, where you will find supermarkets with great local produce, banks restaurants and bars. Within the village centre you can play both mini golf and tennis. Cala Murada beach is one of many small sandy beaches that feature on the Eastern side of the Island but retains the peaceful charm lost by many of the larger beaches. Well placed for exploring neighbouring resorts and beaches such as Porto Cristo and exploring the marina's and bars of Cala D'Or together with its more sophisticated nightlife. The Vall D'Or golf course which is just 10 mins by road offers the most fantastic golfing opportunities as well as the clubhouse being the perfect place to watch the sun go down across the course to Porto Colom and beyond.

Changeover day
Changeover days are normally Saturday's, but can be flexible depending on existing bookings.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed/

All bedrooms with fitted wardrobes.
Double sofa bed.
Cots also available on request.
Bathrooms: Luxury family bathroom with twin sinks, bath, shower above WC and bidet. Finished with limestone tiling.
Bathroom 2 with shower, sink and WC.
Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen with quality appliances throughout, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave with grill, kettle and coffee machine.
Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer and washing sink.
Living Rooms: Large air conditioned lounge/dining room with dining table, 3 piece suite with large double sofa bed. The 26" LCD TV benefits from both DVD and satellite. Doors open directly onto the large outside terrace. A log fire is available out of season.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The property is cleaned weekly with both linen and bath towels provided. Guests are required to bring there own pool and beach towels.

Notes on accommodation
The villa has individual air conditioning and heating units in each room. Everything is brand new for 2008 with the owners particularly pleased to welcome families to this child friendly resort. Top of the range cots and high chairs are available for the smaller members of the family. As well the 8x4 private pool, access is available to the large communal pool 100m away with its pool bar community centre.

Accessibility
The villa is on two floors with no special disabled facilities. However as there is both a ground floor bedroom and bathroom, the villa should be able to accommodate the needs of most people. Spacious doorways should make wheelchair access straight forward. There is one step to the outside terrace which does not have a ramp.

Outside
The landscaped grounds of the villa have a large covered terrace which opens up into the rear garden with its beautiful private pool. The poolside benefits from sun loungers and hammocks. The garden is of course equipped with the essential barbeque. Alfresco dining is catered for with a dining table with eight chairs and parasol, big enough for even the larger family. The two upstairs bedrooms also benefit from extensive terraces and a rooftop shower to cool off, whilst taking in the sea views.

Coast/Beach
The villa is just a 10 min stroll or 2 min drive from the beautiful golden beach at Cala Murada which shelves gently into the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. The beach has a lifeguard and is equipped with sun loungers umbrellas and hammocks. You can enjoy a range of drinks, snacks and meals from the restaurant at the beach edge all of which are keenly priced and superb quality. For those wishing to venture further afield every new bay offers the reward of another beautiful beach.

Golf
Just a 10 min drive from the fabulous Vall D'or 18 hole par 71 golf course. The course is 5,539m long from white tees and combines 2 completely different landscapes in the first and second round. The front nine holes have rolling fairways surrounded by a foest of pine almond and olive trees. The back nine have wider and more uneven fairways that go down towards the coast. The greens protected by bunkers welcome all approach shots. It is an average difficulty golf course but quite entertaining and with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea. The clubhouse opened in 1999 is located on top of a hill from where one can enjoy the spectacular views of Porto Colom and Cala d'or. The restaurant, bar and locker rooms offer everything the discerning golfer would expect. The clubhouse welcomes golfers and non golfers alike, the dining experience at the restaurant is highly recommended. The standard 18 Hole Green-fee is €89 with various discounts available.

Travel
Palma airport is a approx 45 mins by road. Since the recent opening of the new motorway to the east of the island, the journey is both quick and straightforward. Car hire is recommended in order to get the most from your stay at Cala Murada. All major car hire companies are well represented within the confines of Palma Airport making pick up and drop off of cars extremely simple and pain free.

Distances
The village cente of Cala Murada is a mere 10 min stroll away or 2 mins by car. A little further afield is the Vall D'or Golf Club which is approx 10mins by road. Within a similar driving time you will find the more developed Calas de Mallorca as well as the more sophisticated Porto Cristo, the Caves of Drach and Porto Colom. For those seeking the more sophisticated nightlife Cala D'or is just a few mins further south.

Further details
Within the village centre of Cala Murada, you will find two well stocked supermarkets complete with bakery all at very reasonable prices. The village also has two banks, a hairdressers, a mixture of bars and friendly locally run restaurants. Local taxis are also available. The village centre is also equipped with crazy golf and tennis. Vall D'or golf is just 10 mins away, with many other courses all within easy driving distance. Fresh fish from the quayside is available within a 10-15 min drive. The local Markets in Felanitz and Manacor provide a wide choice of fresh local produce including fish, meat and vegetables, you will also find a large outdoor market in Manacor where you can buy anything from clothes & handbags to plants & chickens, well worth a visit. Both Felanitz & Manacor are approx 15mins drive from the villa. The village centre is also equipped with crazy golf and tennis. Vall D'or golf is just 10 mins away, with many other courses all within easy driving distance.

Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required with all bookings with the balance being payable in full 12 weeks before departure. Any bookings made within twelve weeks of departure are immediately payable in full. A £200 security deposit is payable with the balance and will be refunded to you immediately after changeover.
