This immaculately renovated 16th century townhouse is situated very centrally, up a flight of steps from the village square in Fornalutx, a village which has been voted the prettiest in the whole of Spain. The property consists of a spacious entrada/dining room leading to a modern well appointed kitchen and separate utility room. On the next level are 2 double bedrooms, a luxurious bathroom and a light living room with air-conditioning. On the upper floor is the master bedroom with mountain views and a beautiful shower room. Also on this level is the roof terrace with a kitchen for alfresco dining with spectacular mountain views. Enjoy breakfast or a romantic meal watching the sun go down. The village is well served by 3 bars, 4 good restaurants, 2 banks, a supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and church. Further shops and restaurants can be found in nearby Soller and Port de Soller. Changeover day
Rentals normally run from Saturday to Saturday with access to the house from 2pm on the day of arrival and exit by 10.30am on the day of departure. Please contact us for any special requirements.

Kitchen: Fully fitted luxury kitchen with marble worktops, 2 original Mallorcan stone sinks, integrated dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and gas hob.
Utility Room: Separate large utility room with sink, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms: Spacious light room with comfortable seating for 6-8 people. Widescreen TV with satellite channels, DVD player with DVD library. Hot/cold air-conditioning.
Other: The dining room has a large dining table and seating for 6. There is a feature gas fire. Also a CD player with music and games library. The roof terrace has a table and seating for 6. There is a BBQ, and summer kitchen - a hob, a fridge/freezer, sink.
Cleaning/towels/

Cleaning and change of bedlinen/towels is at the end of each week.

Notes on accommodation
The property is suitable for year round rental as it has hot/cold air-conditioning, electric heaters and a gas fire. Please note that for the comfort of all our guests, smoking is only permitted on the roof terrace. Not suitable for pets.

Accessibility
The property is in a pedestrian street 20yds from the village church and is reached by ascending about 30 steps from the village square. The property is on 3 levels and may not be suitable for the very elderly or families with toddlers, however families with older children or babies are catered for.

Outside
There is a delightful roof terrace with a large table, umbrella and seating for 6. There are fantastic views to the mountains and views of the impressive architecture of the village houses. With the added advantage of an outdoor kitchen on the terrace consisting of a sink, fridge/freezer, BBQ and a hob along with kettle and toaster, any meal of the day taken here is a delight!

Coast/Beach
The nearest sandy beach is called Repic and is at the south end of Port de Soller, which is a beautiful horse-shoe bay lined with restaurants and boutique hotels, a marina and a variety of shops. This is about a 10 min drive. Boat charters and water sports can also be found here. A 20 mins drive will take you to Cala Deia.

Golf
The nearest good golf course is approx a 20 mins drive at Son Termens. Within the village itself there is table tennis, a tennis court and boules at the village sports centre and a 5 mins drive will take you to The Soller Tennis Club with 6 clay courts and a municipal outdoor swimming pool.

Special interest holidays
Guided walks in The Serra de Tramuntana mountains can be arranged for guests with a local guide with notice given.

Travel
Palma Airport - 30km (30 mins drive). A hire car is recommended.

Distances
Soller 3km (cafe life, restaurants, shops, train to Palma).
Port de Soller 5km (beach/marina, restaurants, water sports, boat trips). Deia 20km (picturesque village, Robert Graves' former home). Valdemossa 20km (made famous by short stay of Chopin and George Sands). Pollensa - 50kms (try the Sunday market).

The village is well catered for with 3 cafes, 4 restaurants, 2 banks, a pharmacy, a well-stocked supermarket, a medical centre, a small sports ground and a church, with a few other shops selling curios. A few basic food essentials will be provided for your convenience.

Booking notes
A 30% deposit is required on booking with the balance due 1 month before the arrival date. All deposits are non-refundable. A fully refundable 200 euros deposit will be required against breakages and damage on arrival. Payments are to be by bank transfer.
