Accessibility
Access for wheelchair users would be via the secure parking area which is controled by an electric gate and electric garage door, all controlled by your key fob. It should be noted however the width of the lift door is 60cm (2ft) in width. Width of apartment door is 76cm. The lift space is 77 cm deep and 94cm wide once through the door. The lift takes you directly to your apartment.
Outside
A beautiful tropical garden in a small residential complex. Private gated community with access to the yacht marina. The pool is used only by the private complex. Maintenance to the gardens and pool is carried out by an on site maintenance manager.
Coast/Beach
The apartment looks over the Marina and harbour. 10 minute walk to 'Little Beach', which is beautiful. 15 minute walk to Santa Ponca main beach with many watersports available, shops, restaurants and cafes.
Golf
7 golf courses within easy reach, however there is an excellent one right on your door step, at Santa Ponca. There are some places in the world, such as St. Andrews in Scotland, that are synonymous with golf. Mallorca's equivalent is the stunning resort of Golf Santa Ponsa. Golf Santa Ponsa is Mallorca's principal golf village. One of the distinguished elder statesmen of Mallorca golf, Santa Ponsa hosted the Balearic Open on the European Tour on seven occasions between 1988 and 1998. There's a superb shape to the course with several doglegs and intelligent use of water. Key information required to use course - handicap for gentlemen is 28 and handicap for ladies is 36.
Travel
Palma airport (10 miles) and takes 20 minutes by car. Taxis are 33 euros to the airport and are readily available all over the Island. Bus stops in Santa Ponca lead to all areas of the Island. Car hire is not essential but is available for in region of £100 per week from the airport and other areas. Taxi Prices - Palma Airport 33 euros, Andraitx Market 13 euros, Casino 15 euros, Magalluf 12 euros, Marineland 11 euros, Paguera 8 euros, Palma Cathedral 20 euros, Palma Nova 8 euros.
Distances
Little Beach, a gorgeous sandy cove is just a 10 minute walk away. Santa Ponca main beach front and town is just 15 minutes walk from the apartment. Palma is a 20 minute drive from Santa Ponca.
Further details
The bay of Santa Ponca has a large sandy beach and has many watersports available from the sea front. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs of great variety. Cleverly set out with the night clubs and more bars on the western side of the bay a couple of minutes walk away from the main bay area. Shops selling local gifts and products with entertainers to watch whilst you walk around during the evening taking in the sights. A safe family atmosphere however also perfect for couples to enjoy.
