Outside
The complex has three communal pools and very well kept landscaped gardens. This apartment is on the ground floor with a large terrace - patio furniture including sunbeds. As the apartment is situated towards one end of the complex, although ground floor, is very private.
Coast/Beach
Son Parc beach is popular and has all amenities. Lovely sandy cove, with the usual pedaloe and sunbed/para sol hire. The North coast boasts some fantastic more secluded beaches that really need to be discovered!
Golf
Golf Son Parc is an 18 hole course, work of the well-known golf architect, Dave Thomas - offering "a natural golf experience that is relaxing and fascinating". The 18 holes are surrounded by pinewoods and bordered on one side by a wetlands nature reserve. Although not long, the course has interest and challenge for players of all standards, with narrow fairways, dog legs, strategically located bunkers and rock features, two holes played over lakes and undulating greens. It even has it's own colony of peacocks!
Travel
Mahon airport is some 35 mins drive from Son Parc. There is a taxi rank for transfers, although we would recommend car hire as Menorca is definitely an island to explore by car!
Distances
Nearest town is Es Mercadal, in the centre of the island. Here you will find a wealth of good restaurants, along with larger supermarkets. Also close by is Monte Toro, the highest point on the island. Ciutadella, the islands ancient capital with its Moorish architecture, and Mahon, the present day capital, with its large deepwater natural harbour are both well worth a visit during your stay.
Booking notes
We ask for 25% of the cost of the rental as a deposit in order to secure the booking, and then the balance is payable four weeks prior to departure. Payment can be made by sterling cheque.
