Betlem and the beautiful marina village of Colonia St Pere (close by) offer the perfect location to relax and enjoy traditional Mallorcan hospitality, whilst still be within easy reach of the busier centres at Puerto Pollenca, Alcudia and Cala Rajada. The apartment has hot/cold air conditioning, TV/Sky TV, DVD and music surround sound, and a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher. There are 2 good restaurants within a short walk and the nearby village offers many more along with all shops and amenities. Within the secure complex the landscaped gardens and pool areas offer a safe haven for children and the indoor pool complex has an adult gymnasium and sauna. Best of all the views are stunning. Notes on accommodation
Air Conditioning is hot and cold. Telephone and Internet access is available solely by prior arrangement and maybe subject to an additional deposit. Residencial Betlem is a LOW RISE development of just three floors. There are no high rise developments in this area and we are flanked by the nature reserve, the sea and the mountain range, with mainly private Villas and Finca's in the immediate, mainly residential location.

Accessibility
No special access, however, this apartment is one of only a few with lift access both from the garage parking and the ground level access.
Outside
One of the best located penthouse apartments, we enjoy private sunbathing, dining, relaxing and taking in the stunning views from a 90sq metre roof top terrace. This area is fully furnished with dining facilities, 2 large external sofas, sunbeds, and hammock. A drinks fridge and freezer is also on this upper level, with a large Gas BBQ and even a patio heater (although we have never used it!). The complex offers a huge outdoor pool with a small children's pool and communal BBQ area. The landscaped gardens are maintained to an exceptional standard with pathways directly to the sea and the adjacent nature reserve (via security gate). The complex is accessed via electric gates and watchman security is provided through the night.
Coast/Beach
Step out of the garden and directly into a shallow and rocky cove, or walk the coast road to Colonia St Pere (about 3km) where you will pass lots of secluded sandy and rocky areas. At Colonia there is a clean, 'blue-flag' sandy beach, well served by the local bars and restaurants. Travel by car for 15 minutes or less in either direction on the main Arta road and there is a vast choice of beaches. Some are busy like Alcudia, or Puerto Pollenca and some secluded and tranquil like Cala Torta.
Golf
Several superb Golf courses are within a 20 minute drive. including, Capdepera, Canyamel, Son Severa and Pula, although my personal favourite is Alcanada, close to Alcudia - Fantastic!
Special interest holidays
Betlem and the surrounding coastline are a haven for Watersports. We can arrange for Sailing Boat Day Charters (with Skipper and inclusive of all meals) from the nearby marina at Colonia St Pere. Or if you are an experienced and qualified sailor we can help with yacht charter. The village also offers excellent sailing school activity weeks for children and adults.
Travel
Fly to Palma and collect a car. It is essential to hire a car to reach the North of the island which is about 50 minutes / 70km drive on the excellent new road network. Plus once in Betlem you will want to explore the beautiful Mallorcan towns like Arta and Old Pollenca.

Further details
Everything you need is available locally, although if you want to do a big shop, we recommend Caprabo, a hypermarket in the nearby Can Picafort, or stopping at Carrefour Avda. Cardenal Rossel s/n 07007 Coll d´en Rabassa - close to the airport on your arrival.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of 25% should be returned along with the completed booking form (available via email). The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure along with a security deposit of £150 (refundable within 2 weeks of your return, providing that there is no damage to the apartment or the contents or unapproved use of the telephone).
