Our home in Trebaluger is in a quiet cul de sac bordering farmland giving you peace, tranquility and uninterrupted views. The centre of the village with a fantastic family run supermarket is ten minutes walk away. It is 15 minutes drive from both the Airport, and the port of Mahon with its bustling markets, shops and quayside restaurants. Both Sant Lluis, built by the French in 1750 and Es Castell, built by the English in Nelson's time, are a few minutes drive away. Sandy beaches at Alcaufar, our favourite, Punta Prima and Binibeca are no more than 15 minutes away; similarly tennis, sailing, wind surfing, scuba diving and cricket are all within easy reach. Much of the Island is now protected as a UNESCO 'Reserva de Biosfera' which makes it a favourite for walkers, birdwatchers and wild flower enthusiasts, particularly in the Spring. Archeologists are catered for too, with numerous sites to visit.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Monday - departure from the house by 10.00am, arrival after 2.00pm (if necessary cases can be left in the front hall). Flexibility in changeover may be possible out of season.

Well equipped fitted kitchen with granite work surfaces and good storage. Gas hob, extractor hood, fan oven, built in microwave, large fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. A gas heater provides constant hot water and central heating when required. |

Dining room has large table with banquette seating and chairs for 8 with wall mounted 'Bookworm' providing a library. Sun lounge, south facing room with French doors to terrace, bar, radio/CD player. Salon with open fireplace, desk and armchairs. |

The Turret room above the salon provides a quiet room, a shower room, and a large south facing terrace with a wonderful view towards Ponte Prima and west to Sant Lluis.

Cleaning/towels/

A weekly maid service is provided when the house has a light clean and towels and sheets are changed. A more frequent service is available at extra local cost. Please bring your own beach/pool towels. |

Full central heating if required. Child friendly with gates to swimming pool area, large lawn, shutters and/or blackout curtains - high chair, stair gate and travel cot if requested.

Accessibility
Majority of accommodation on ground floor, continuous single level with two sets of French doors.
Outside
Extensive gardens, lawn, orchard, sun terraces with two groups of table, chairs and umbrella. Shaded BBQ adjacent to the herb garden, preparation/serving area with sink, eight director's chairs and a large table. Private swimming pool 8m x 4m within a gated terrace has eight sun beds, Lily and Papyrus pond with fountain. The large lawn gives a good playing area and lockable entrance gates give total security. Drying area outside kitchen.
Coast/Beach
In addition to the attractions already mentioned Menorca has something very special such as dozens of lovely untouched beaches and gorgeous countryside to explore, by car, bicycle or on foot. It also has the densest concentration of prehistoric monuments in Europe.
Golf
Newly extended 18 hole course at Son Parc, 30 minutes drive.
Travel
Mahon airport is 15 minutes drive from the house. Car hire is essential and can be arranged at time of booking.
Distances
Trebaluger, a ten minute walk to the supermarket.
Sant Lluis and Es Castell, five minutes by car.
Mahon, fifteen minutes by car.

Booking notes
A deposit of 25% of rental secures the booking. The balance plus a security deposit of £200, is due 8 weeks before departure. A deposit will also be required if telephone land line is to be made available. Cot, high chair and stair gate can be arranged at time of booking - no extra charge. A food package (chargeable) can also be arranged.
