Notes on accommodation
The Villas Es Dormido ,a small development ,are privately owned villas next to the sea. They are under English management.
The villas are fully equipped with bed linen and towels which will be changed each week when the property is cleaned.
Each villa has a patio/small garden and covered terrace, BBQ, patio furniture and sun beds.
Beach towels are not provided.
Gas and elektricity are included in the villa price.

Coast/Beach
A short coastal walk (5-10 mins) takes you to the yacht marina and the fine sandy beaches of Cala`n Bosch and beyond that to the beach of Son Xoriguer where wind-surfers and small sailing boats maybe hired. Water sking and paragliding are also available from this beach.

Travel
The airport is an hour drive from your holiday home.
You can ask Mrs. Derry to order a taxi for you.
Although not essential we recommend to all our clients that a hired car be considered to enjoy the full beauty of the island .The island has a number of isolated beaches that are only accessible by car and then by foot.
You also can rent bikes and scooters.
There are very good bus services, with buses every half hour to Ciutadella.

Further details
There are also restaurants, shops, supermarkets around the marina. Light entertainment is provided most evenings in the marina plaza.
Menorca was declared Reserve of the Biosphere in 1993 by the UNESCO.
To visit a place of interest is The Albufera Natural Park at Es Grau.Lots of different birds can be seen here.
The famous country road is "Cami de Cavalls".
A route not to be missed to capture the real beauty of the island.
Beautiful is Ciutadella with his famous cathedral ,terraces shops and restaurants.
Also Mahon with his natural harbour, one of the largest in the world.
Every Sunday there is a car-boot sale in the Park "Es Freginal" in Mahon.
The newspaper of the island is called "La Menorca". They have an English edition on Tuesdays. Here you can find also all the information about markets on the island.

Booking notes
£50 non-refundable deposit per week.
Final payment 6 weeks before departure.
If a booking is made less than 6 weeks before departure, the full payment must be paid on booking.
