The villa is set in beautiful gardens and is surrounded by outside terracing. at the back of the house there is a private area with jacuzzi and to the front a very well appointed swimming pool. The interior of the villa is very well furnished and a new ultra modern kitchen has recently been installed. All the living area are bright and airy and each bedroom has its own colour theme. Main bedroom has 4 poster bed,ensuite facilities and balcony. The villa is situated within 5 minutes of Fornells which has a small port and many good shops and restaurants. The villa is also close to the local sailing and windsurfing schools.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is cool in the summer period and there are fans available. The villa is child friendy although there are steps leading up to the villa that might be awkward for older people.
There are a number of good small supermarkets close by and many excellent restaurants.

Steps leading up to villa could be difficullt for people with mobility problems.
Outside
The villa is set in beautiful landscape gardens. There is a jacuzzi at the back of the property in a very private area and a well appointed swimming pool to the front of the property. There is a large sundeck and patio to the side of the property together with outside barbecue. There is newly installed teak garden furniture and matching chairs for 8 people.
Coast/Beach
The beach is 5-10 minutes walk away and there are a number of other beautiful beaches within driving distance.
Golf
There is a golf course at Son Parc which is 15 minutes away.
Special interest holidays
Many people come to the area on walking holidays and there are a number of excellent walking trails.
Sailing and windsurfing schools are 10 minutes away.
Travel
Car hire is recommended and the airport of Mahon is 25 minutes away.
Distances
All distances are relatively small and furthest away are the towns of Mahon (30 minutes) and Ciutadella (30 minutes). They are situated on opposite sides of the island.
Further details
The nearby port of Fornells is 5 minutes away and there you can find banks, shops and supermarkets. Before you depart a restuarant guide will be emailed to you and suggestions given.

About the owner
We live in London and at the weekends go to our home in Suffolk.. I am in the film business and my husband is a lawyer. We have been going to Menorca for the past 20 years and we bought this house in 1995. We have furnished the house for ourselves rather than the rental market and we feel that is is a very comfortable home with beautiful gardens.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We are both very well travelled and when we first went to the island we fell in love immediately with the beauty of Menorca and the fact that it was so unspoilt. Even after 20 years we feel that this is a very special place and are very happy that building of any high rise properties is forbidden and that the whole island retains its individuality over main land Spain and it continues to be a very special place. Even in high season, one can escape into remote areas and many of the beaches are very safe and not too crowded... Restaurant offer good value for money for families and the sports facilities are excellent.
Unique benefits of the property
The property is well furnished and very comfortable and is 5 minutes walk for the local supermarket and some very good eating places. The Gardens are very well tended throughout the year and there is a great terrace for evening dining where one can be totally secluded... The pool is a good size and there is also a jacuzzi at the back that seats at least 4 people... there are a number of terrasses around the house and for those who want shade throughout the day this is not a problem.
