This apartment overlooks the beach and sea it is furnished in a contemporary style. The apartment has been completely re-modernised and has fantastic views of the bay of Palma. At night one can hear the waves breaking in this peaceful and relaxing haven. Cala Vinyes has several small supermarkets and a selection of restaurants & bars, plus 2 hotels where you can enjoy evening entertainment. Cala Vinyes is perfectly situated for the best of both worlds. A quiet resort, but only 10 mins from the bigger resorts with all the attractions and nightlife, yet only 20 mins from the capital, Palma, with its culture, fantastic choice of restaurants and shopping. The apartment is very well situated for taking day trips to the Tramunta Mountains and the surroundings towns/villages, i.e. Valdemossa, Deia, Soller and Puerto Soller. There are also several water parks and children’s' attractions - Seaworld, crazy golf, aquarium etc. all within a ten minute drive.

Changeover day
We have no preference on change over day and will always try to accomodate our guests to suit their flights etc.

Accommodation

The kitchen is newly fitted with all modern equipment, electric oven, ceramic hob, a large fridge with freezer and microwave etc.
The bathroom is also newly fitted with a large stand in shower unit.
The bedroom has 2 single beds that can be pushed together, an extremely large built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers that can easily hold clothes for 4 people. The double aspect lounge is very large and has new modern style furniture.
One section of the L-shaped sofa converts into a very comfortable double bed. There is also a bar and various other modern pieces of furniture.
The lounge has full width patio doors that open onto the balcony, where there is a dining table and four chairs for alfresco dining.
The other full height lounge windows look directly over the beach and sea.
There are double locking connecting doors between the 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, this being ideal for two families.

The 2 bedroom apartment has been completely refurbished and includes a modern bathroom with walk in shower.
The American style kitchen has a breakfast bar that integrates with the comfortable lounge.
The kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic hob, a large fridge/freezer and all the equipment one might need.
The lounge has modern furniture with 2 settees, 1 that converts into a double bed.
From the lounge there are 2 patio doors that lead on to the balcony overlooking the beach and sea.
On the balcony there is a table and 6 chairs.
There are 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom has 2 single beds that can join with a very large built-in wardrobe.
The second bedroom has bunk beds and sea views.
There are double locking connecting doors between the 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, this being ideal for two families.

 


Outside
The apartments have use of the community swimming pool. The pool is about 25 feet square and leads directly to the beach, only 25 yards away. There is a small public children's play area behind the beach. The whole area is extremely safe and quiet, especially as there are no roads between the apartment and the beach. The beach is serviced by a life guard and there are sun beds and parasols for daily hire if required.

Coast/Beach
The beach is situated in a small cove with inviting palm trees, perfect sand and shallow areas for paddling before venturing into the calm sea for a swim. It is renown in the area as being one of the most picturesque beaches. There are other beaches at Cap Falco - totally unspoilt and only a 20 minute walk away, not to mention the larger nearby beaches of the bigger resorts. The apartment overlooks the Cala Vinyes beach, less than 50 yards away with no roads to cross.

Golf
Around the Cala Vinyes area they are about 5 major golf courses all within a 10-15 drive away.

Travel
Palma is the nearest airport, about 25 mins away.

Distances
The apartment is in the village of Cala Vinyes, about 10 mins drive from Palma Nova and Santa Ponsa. As Mallorca is an island there is plenty of scope for taking day trips from the apartment to visit the North, West and East coasts and compare the scenery and local fayre that is it is so reknown for, and return in time for dinner!

Further details
Within the south west of Mallorca there is everything you could wish for the perfect holiday - from water parks to crazy golf for children; Joan Miro Art Exhibitions to the inspiring Cathedral in Palma, encircled by cobbled winding lanes (traffic free) with bars, coffee shops and shops full of local and international goods. Some of the best Spanish restaurants are all close by with many local restaurants available. There are many sightseeing drives to take, and one of the most spectacular parts of the island is the west coast with picturesque villages and breathtaking mountains to explore. Within a ten minute drive there is the renown Port of Puerto Portals - a fascinating place to people watch, eat or sip a cool beer/sangria in the many different cafes and restaurants there are to visit; not to mention the array of multi million pound yachts that drift past and can be see on foot from the quayside.
