Outside
The cottage is situated on a 900sqm of land of pine and olive grow. There is a garden and terraces for outdoor eating as well as a mirador overlooking the sea and the outstanding sunsets, ideal for quiet dinners.
Coast/Beach
The Cala of Deią is a 15 minute drive away. There are 2 restaurants at the Cala, and is an ideal spot for snorkeling.
The cove of the Cala of Valldemossa is the other way, about 20 minutes by car. Actor Michael Douglas has a house nearby, a former property of the Archduke Luis Salvador.
Golf
The newest golf course on the island "Son Termes" 18 holes is very beautiful and only 20 minutes drive from the casita and 10 minutes to Palma. Real Golf de Bendinat and Golf Son Vida about 40 minutes drive.
Special interest holidays
In Son Marroig, the summer residence of the late Archduke Luis Salvador of Austria, next door to the property, the International Festival of Chamber Music of Deią has been going on for the last 29 years.
This year's schedule can be found at www.soundpost.org, with concerts beginning in June.

The airport of Palma is 35 minutes drive from the casita, car hire is recommended as it allows to visit the charming villages of the area.
