Our villa is in a perfect location on a rocky headland on the outskirts of Cala'n Bosch. Just 50 metres from the sea and just a short, coastal walk to the pretty marina of Cala'n Bosch with it's shops and restaurants. The snorkelling off the rocks in front of the villa is excellent. The local beach is 5/10 minutes walk away and there is a pool for your use 5 minutes away. The villa is on a small, private complex surrounded by beautiful shrubs. We have a covered patio downstairs with a built in barbecue and a roof top terrace with wonderful views of the Med. It sleeps up to five and has two bedrooms, lounge, newly refurbed kitchen and bathroom.

Notes on prices
The prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds. NOT per person.
Towels for the villa for up to 4 people are included along with bedlinen, all changed weekly. Extra person charged at £15. Gas, electricity, water also included. Long weekend bookings accepted if available. Changeover days are negotiable.

Changeover days can be flexible especially if you book early or want to visit out of the school holidays.

Towels and bedlinen for the villa are supplied supplied and changed weekly (for up to 4 persons, extra at nominal charge of £10). We have a local management service with 24hr contact number. |

Outside
There are lawns to the front and back of the villa and access to the sea in front. There is a downstairs covered terrace which looks out to the sea with built in barbecue, table and chairs for outside eating. On the roof terrace there are sunbeds and a further table and chairs, especially lovely in the evenings to watch the sunset!! A swimming pool for use is 5 minutes walk away.
Coast/Beach
Our local beach is just a pleasant 5/10 minutes walk away along the coastal road. It has a lovely beach bar which serves the best pizzas in the world! Just further on is the larger beach of Son Xoriguer which has all water sports available, sailing, water skiing, paragliding etc. Sun beds and parasols are available to hire on both beaches. Other beautiful beaches are a short drive away and really are well worth the journey! Some of them need a walk from the car park but again well worth it.
Golf
There is only one golf course on the Island and it is about 3/4hr drive away. It is the nearest golf course to the sea in the whole of Spain!
Travel
The airport, Mahon, is approximately 45 drive away. There is a ferry port in both Mahon the Capital of Menorca and Ciutadella the former Capital. I would recommend hiring a car for your holiday as Menorca has so many outstandingly beautiful beaches to visit. Many of them have pines on the beach for natural shade. Ciutadella is also worth a visit or two especially in the evenings on the Port where there are many restaurants and open air markets. Great for people watching!
Distances
Cala'n Bosch is built around a Marina which has many lovely shops and restaurants to choose from.
Ciutadella is a 10 minute drive. The famous port of Fornells in the North East of the island is only 45 minutes away. Menorca is famous for it's stunning beaches. A 20 minute drive from the villa enables you to visit several of these beaches.
Further details
Menorca is a small, friendly Island. A perfect place to spend a family holiday. The locals are friendly, the food excellent both in the restaurants or to buy in the supermarkets and cook back at the villa. The beaches are so beautiful, many of them are surrounded by pines for natural shade in the middle of the day. There are many historic sites and summer Fiestas to visit and yet, because of the location of the villa, peace and quiet when you want it.

About the owner
I live in England with my husband and family. I run a small business and am always busy! Our daughter is married with 2 young children and our older son gets married this year. Our youngest son is 18yrs and is just finishing his A levels. Every year it is a juggling act as to who has the villa when. All our children love the island as much as we do and have become good friends with some of the locals. I get withdrawal symptoms over the winter! Thinking constantly of the beaches (my favourite is Macarella) and the food! I do all the lettings for the villa myself so I know I give all the right information. We have a management team out there.
We enjoy reading our visitor's book at the end of the season and many of our visitors come back year after year.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We first came to Cala'n Bosch 15yrs ago when all our children were young. We stayed in the villa we now own. We came back for the next 3 years and then decided to go somewhere else - St Lucia. We could not wait to get back to Menorca the next year! The reason we love the island so much is firstly the people, they are all so friendly! Then of course the island itself.
Having driven the whole island many times we always agree that our little community is so lucky to be located where it is, right on the edge of the sea. It is now not possible to build on the coastal side of roads in Menorca which makes ours even more unique. We are so close to the Marina and local beach, 10mins from Ciutadella and yet when you want peace and quiet we have that too!
Unique benefits of the property
The sea is literally 50 metres form the villa, the snorkeling off the rocks is fabulous. My boys (husband included) spend many hours fishing there too. Idyllic location.
