Es Castell is a delightful historic old town just outside the capital, Mahon. The luxury duplex apartment is in a small, secure complex with 2 shared pools and underground garage. The property overlooks Mahon harbour and is a short walk down into the fishing cove of Cala Fonts, which has numerous bars and restaurants around the waters edge. Always a buzz of life in the evenings in a quiet, Menorcan way! Suited to families or romantic waterside meals for 2. They say there is a beach for every day of the year in Menorca, many of them are within 10-15 minutes drive.

Changeover day
Our changeover day is Friday. Access to the property is from 3pm. You are requested to vacate the property by 11am on day of departure.

Notes on accommodation
Not recommended for very young children due to open plan tiled staircase with no facility for a stairgate.
This is a duplex apartment with entrance on first floor level with kitchen, cloakroom, living area and balcony. Open plan staircase leads down to 2 bedrooms, family bathroom and utility room.
Accessibility
The apartment is accessed via 2 sets of external stairs. Therefore would not be suitable for wheel chair or disability access.
Outside
Two shared pools, one with a children's area. Sun loungers provided for personal use by apartment visitors and stored on that level. The apartments have a garage and we have a dedicated space to park your car.
Coast/Beach
Many beautiful secluded beaches can be reached by car within 10-15 mins drive.
Travel
We are 15 mins easy drive from the airport. Taxis are available. You may not need a car as the town of Es Castell is on your doorstep and Mahon is a 15 min walk away. Public transport is very good.
Distances
The historic capital Mahon is 5 min by car, with it's busy harbour and bustling streets of shops.
Further details
Outside the front door is a good supermarket, bread shop, fish shop and within 2-3 minutes all shopping amenities of Es Castell. At the rear of the complex a slipway takes you into Cala Fonts cove, with shops, restaurants and bars, you can even feed the ducks! The cove of Cala Fonts is very beautiful, glass bottom boats leave from here to tour Mahon harbour. The cove is much photographed.
Booking notes
Please email the owners. We require a deposit on booking of 30% and the balance 6 weeks before departure. A key/breakage deposit of £150 is required when the keys are sent to you, this deposit is not banked but held as security and given back to you when keys are returned. This reflects the high quality of fittings within the apartment.
