Roof terrace with views of sea and mountains consists of BBQ, table, chairs and sunloungers making it ideal for relaxing and alfresco dining and watching the spectacular sun sets. Large open plan lounge/diner leads onto ground floor private enclosed courtyard also with furniture. Situated at the eastern end of the Bay of Alcudia, the village of Colonia San Pere is an area of the island that has remained almost unspoilt. This delightful fishing village features a small yachting harbour, shops and supermarket, church, bank, bars and restaurants. Nearby there are rocky cliffs, isolated beaches with fine white sand, idyllic walking trails and lots of sporting facilities. The ancient market town of Arta is just 10 minutes' drive away. It is ideal for small children with a safe beach and pedestrianised sea-front walkway. The area is also very popular with walkers and cyclists and the house has a secure area to store bikes.

Coast/Beach
The small sandy beach at Colonia de San Pere is 5 minutes walk from the house. This beach is very safe for children with lifeguard cover throughout the summer months. It is also relatively quiet all year round. Other beaches include Cala Ratjada, Cala Torte, Cala Mesquida, C'an Picafort and Alcudia (all within 20 minutes drive).
Golf
There are several fist class golf courses all within a 20 minute drive, eg Alcanada, Capdepera, Canyamel & Pula.
Special interest holidays
This area of Majorca is excellent for walkers and cyclists. It is possible to hire cycles in nearby C'an Picafort and the house has a secure area where bikes can be stored.
Colonia de San Pere also has a picturesque marina which has recently been updated. It is possible to charter boats from the port.
Travel
Palma airport is approx 45 minutes drive. Car hire is not vital but is recommended. There are several hire companies nearby.
Distances
It is 10 minutes drive to the quaint, historic town of Arta which holds its weekly market on a Tuesday morning. Here you will find some interesting shops and several excellent restaurants. For more serious shopping the town of Manacor is 25 minutes drive away.
C'an Picafort, a larger resort offering go-karting, water sports, horse riding etc, is 15 minutes drive and the Alucdia water park is 25 minutes drive.

A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm the booking with the balance due 2 calender months prior to departure.
